Height-adjustable work surface assembly
A height-adjustable work surface assembly includes a base portion and a work portion, and may include a gas spring, an actuation mechanism, a rack, and a pinion. The work portion is supported by the base portion for translation along a first path of motion. The gas spring is actuatable between a locked position and an unlocked position, and is operable to apply a force on the work portion in the unlocked position to urge the work portion along the first path of motion. The actuation mechanism is coupled to the gas spring to move the gas spring from the locked to the unlocked position. The rack is supported by the work portion or the base portion and includes a first plurality of teeth. The pinion is supported by the other of the work portion and the base portion and includes a second plurality of teeth.
Computer stand
An improved computer stand is an elevated computer support surface that allows users to comfortably stand, if desired, while taking up much less space than conventional computer desks. Fabricated of a durable wood material with a strong, metal-based support stem, this product would be adjustable to heights ranging from forty-two to sixty-two inches (35-62), and would feature a large surface width of thirty inches (30). The improved computer stand would have two (2) tiers. The top section would be a flat rectangular piece that could easily support a laptop or computer monitor. The second tier, which would be tucked underneath the top space, would be hinge connected and adjustable in height. A footrest, attached at the base of the support stem, would offer a height adjustable place to relax the feet should one choose to sit on a tall stool or chair while working.

Ratchet-based height adjustable system
Adjustable height systems that are easy to manufacture, cost effective and simple to use. The systems use a hidden ratchet mechanism to adjust their height without introducing pinch points or other safety concerns. Moreover, because the ratchet mechanisms are hidden, they do not adversely impact the esthetics of the systems.

Foldable table
A foldable table has a base, a lifting device, an adjusting assembly, and a supporting board. The adjusting assembly is pivotally connected with the lifting device and has an adjusting board, an adjusting rack, an adjusting slider, and a connection arm. The adjusting board is pivotally connected with the lifting device. The adjusting rack is mounted on the adjusting board and has an engaging side provided with multiple teeth. The adjusting slider is moveably mounted on the adjusting board and has an engaging block and two resilient elements. The engaging block is pivotally mounted on the adjusting slider and has an engaging post selectively engaging with one of the teeth on the adjusting rack. The supporting board is pivotally connected with the adjusting board and is pivotally connected with the top end of the connection arm.
Disposable Sanitary Tray and Bedside Tables
The present invention teaches a bedside table with a disposable hygienic tray which has thereon multiple layers of film. Each layer of film in turn has adhesive, or anti-bacterial compounds, or bacterial detection compounds, or combinations thereof. In use, for example in a hospital, health care setting, home care setting or for home or many other contexts of use, each layer is removed in sequence, exposing a new layer underneath. After a suitable period of usage, the new layer is in turn removed to expose yet another later. When the final layer is removed the disposable tray is removed from the bedside table and replaced with a fresh tray. In embodiments, the core bedside table unit may sit on the floor, mount to a wall rail, or may have a projection dimensioned and configured to pass between the bottom of a mattress and the top of a box spring.

Adjustable height table and base assembly
An adjustable height table base assembly includes two or more leg assemblies each including a mobile leg member, a stationary leg member, and a linear motion system. The mobile and stationary leg members are each formed of a flat vertical support structure. The leg assemblies are configured to extend and retract to adjust a height position of the mobile leg member and any table top secured to the mobile leg member. The mobile leg members slide in a parallel direction in relation to the stationary leg members by means of linear motion systems. The power mechanism for the adjustable height table may comprise a counterbalance mechanism or one or more electric motors. Optionally, each of the leg assemblies also includes a non-load bearing cover enclosing at least a portion of the mobile leg member and at least a portion of the stationary leg member.
