Expandable spinal interbody assembly
An expandable implant includes a top support assembly defining an upper surface configured to engage a first portion of bone, a first central aperture extending from the upper surface to an interior of the implant, and a first grid structure surrounding the first central aperture; a bottom support assembly defining a lower surface configured to engage a second portion of bone, a second central aperture extending from the lower surface to the interior, and a second grid structure surrounding the second central aperture; and a control assembly coupled to the top support assembly and the bottom support assembly and configured to control relative movement between the top support assembly and the bottom support assembly between a collapsed position and an expanded position.
Supporting member and supporting member assembly for implantation into or between subjects bones, and template plug and tamper corresponding to the same
The present invention provides a supporting member and a supporting member assembly including the same to be implanted into or between a subject's bones, and a template plug and a tamper corresponding to the supporting member. The supporting member comprises a main body; a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion formed on the upper and lower sides of the main body respectively and forming a dovetail joint with each other; and a guiding structure formed at a side of the main body and including guiding holes as well as a buffer groove for mating with an external template plug. The supporting members of the invention can be sequentially implanted and connected into a bone or between two connected bones, and improve the defect of the conventional one-size giant implants injuring the surrounding nerves.
Stabilized total ankle prosthesis
The present invention relates to a stabilized ankle prosthesis configured for use in patients with compromised soft tissue in the ankle. The prosthesis of the present invention is a two-component design comprising a stabilizing lip configured to constrain movement in the general direction of compromised soft tissue.
Implants and methods of use and assembly
Implants, devices, and methods for maintaining, correcting and/or fusing joint deformities are disclosed. The implant a first member, a second member, and an insert with a top surface and a bottom surface. The top surface couples to the first member and the bottom surface engages the second member. Kits and methods of using the implants for maintaining, correcting and/or fusing joint deformities are also disclosed.
Expandable interbody implant and breakoff screw
An expandable implant may include an expandable body defined by a superior endplate and an inferior endplate that are hingedly coupled and may be expanded and lordosed. The superior endplate may include a first core having a distal engagement surface and the inferior endplate may include a second core having a proximal engagement surface and a threaded screw aperture. The implant may include a threaded breakoff screw disposed in the threaded screw aperture and movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, for example. In the locked position, the threaded locking screw may urge the distal engagement surface of the first core into direct contact with the proximal engagement surface of the second core. When broken, the breakoff screw may comprise a recessed fracture surface.
BEARING COMPONENT FOR ARTIFICIAL KNEE JOINT
Proposed is a bearing component for an artificial knee joint, the bearing component including a body part, whose plane shape is oval, having an indentation portion formed by depressing a posterior center to a predetermined depth toward a center of the body part, a protruding portion protruding from an upper surface of the body part and introduced into an opening of a femoral component, a coupling portion provided on a lower surface of the body part, and having an engagement surface of a certain height to form a step difference with an outer circumferential surface of the body part, the engagement surface being formed on left and right sides of the coupling portion, and being not formed on an indentation surface, and a fastening portion having a plurality of coupling protrusions formed in a portion where the engagement surface of the coupling portion is not formed.
MTS MEDIAL TIBIAL PLATEAU PATCH, MODULAR MTS MEDIAL TIBIAL PLATEAU PATCH AND MINIMALLY INVASIVE REPLACEMENT METHOD THEREFOR
An MTS medial tibial plateau patch, a modular MTS medial tibial plateau patch, and a minimally invasive replacement method thereof are disclosed. The MTS medial tibial plateau patch includes an articular surface provided with an arc-shaped recessed area and a bottom surface provided with 3 stand columns distributed triangularly, or two longitudinal keels having non-parallel distribution or two triangular keel wings, and the arc-shaped recessed area is well matched and in a sliding fit with a femoral condyle without an increase in impact in a joint, thus guaranteeing a stability of a prosthesis, realizing a concept of a minimally invasive surgery, and reducing damage to a normal tissue. The modular MTS medial tibial plateau patch includes a bone-trabecula metal tibial support and a liner made of VE high cross-linked polyethylene.
BONE IMPLANT HOLDING AND SHAPING TRAY
A bone implant holding and shaping tray is provided. The tray includes a first segment having a distal end and a first surface sized to hold and shape at least a portion of the bone implant with bone material. The tray includes a second segment having a second surface sized to hold and shape at least a portion of the bone implant with bone material, the second segment having a proximal end configured to be coupled to the distal end of the first segment so as to extend the first surface to hold and shape the bone implant. Methods of making and using the bone implant holding and shaping tray are also provided.
