Method of implanting an acetabular shell and an augment
Systems, devices, and methods are provided for orthopedic implants. The implants may include a base member, such as an acetabular shell or an augment, that is configured to couple with an augment, flange cup, mounting member, or any other suitable orthopedic attachment. An implant may include a base member that has at least two projections with a gap between the projections. The gap between the projections allows the implant to fee implanted around another implanted component, such as around a bone screw of an acetabular shell. The implant may include a fixation element, such as a screw or a cement trough, on one or more projections to couple the implant to an implanted acetabular shell. The implant may also include timing marks to facilitate alignment with corresponding marks on another implanted component.
Device and method for treatment of spondylotic disease
A device for treatment of spondylotic disease includes a distractor for distracting vertebral facets of first and second vertebrae located adjacent each other. The distractor includes a first abutment surface for interfacing with an inferior articular facet of the first vertebra. The distractor also includes a second abutment surface for interfacing with the superior articular facet of the second vertebra corresponding to the inferior articular facet of the first vertebra. The first and second abutment surfaces of the distractor engage with each other and are separated by a predetermined distance.
Expandable fusion device and method of installation thereof
The present invention provides an expandable fusion device capable of being installed inside an intervertebral disc space to maintain normal disc spacing and restore spinal stability, thereby facilitating an intervertebral fusion. In one embodiment, the fusion device includes a body portion, a first endplate, and a second endplate, the first and second endplates capable of being moved in a direction away from the body portion into an expanded configuration or capable of being moved towards the body portion into an unexpanded configuration. The fusion device is capable of being deployed and installed in both configurations.
LOW PROFILE PLATE
The present application generally relates to orthopedic systems, and in particular, to systems including independent plates and spacers. A plating system can include a spacer and a plate that is independent from the spacer. A number of locking mechanisms can be provided to secure the plate to the spacer. In some cases, the spacer includes a pair of notches that extend on an outer surface of the spacer. The plate can include a pair of lateral extensions that can engage the notches to secure the plate to the spacer. In other cases, the spacer includes an opening including a pair of inlets. The plate can include an enclosed posterior extension that can be received in the pair of inlets to secure the plate to the spacer.
INTERBODY SPACER AND BONE PLATE ASSEMBLY
Implant assemblies, systems, and methods for stabilizing a joint between a superior vertebra and an inferior vertebra may include a plate member coupled to an interbody spacer with at least one fastener that extends superiorly or inferiorly from the implant assembly to anchor within a vertebral body and stabilize the joint. Inserters and methods of insertion may also be included to facilitate fixation of various implant assemblies within the intervertebral space of the joint between the superior vertebra and the inferior vertebra.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INSERTING AN INTERBODY SPACER AND BONE PLATE ASSEMBLY
Implant assemblies, systems, and methods for stabilizing a joint between a superior vertebra and an inferior vertebra may include a plate member coupled to an interbody spacer with at least one fastener that extends superiorly or inferiorly from the implant assembly to anchor within a vertebral body and stabilize the joint. Inserters and methods of insertion may also be included to facilitate fixation of various implant assemblies within the intervertebral space of the joint between the superior vertebra and the inferior vertebra.
Devices and method for treatment of spondylotic disease
A vertebral facet distractor includes an elongated generally cylindrical contour including a first end surface, a second end surface, an outer sidewall, an inner sidewall, and a central lumen having an opening in one of the first end surface and the second end surface. The outer sidewall may be provided with a surface irregularity, such as a screw thread. The vertebral facet distractor may further include a holder including an elongated body and a tip that extends through the opening and is engaged with the contour. The tip may be provided with a screw thread that is engaged with the contour or may engage the contour in an interference fit.

EXPANDABLE FUSION DEVICE AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION THEREOF
The present invention provides an expandable fusion device capable of being installed inside an intervertebral disc space to maintain normal disc spacing and restore spinal stability, thereby facilitating an intervertebral fusion. In one embodiment, the fusion device includes a body portion, a first endplate, and a second endplate, the first and second endplates capable of being moved in a direction away from the body portion into an expanded configuration or capable of being moved towards the body portion into an unexpanded configuration. The fusion device is capable of being deployed and installed in both configurations.

In some embodiments, the orthopedic attachments may be adjustably positionable about the base member or other attachments, thereby providing modularity for assembling and implanting the device, and various securing and/or locking mechanisms may be used between the components of the implant.
