APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR THE FIXATION OR FUSION OF BONE
Assemblies of one or more implant structures make possible the achievement of diverse interventions involving the fusion and/or stabilization of the SI-joint and/or lumbar and sacral vertebra in a non-invasive manner, with minimal incision, and without the necessitating the removing the intervertebral disc. The representative lumbar spine interventions, which can be performed on adults or children, include, but are not limited to, SI-joint fusion or fixation; lumbar interbody fusion; translaminar lumbar fusion; lumbar facet fusion; trans-iliac lumbar fusion; and the stabilization of a spondylolisthesis.
MOTION PRESERVATION IMPLANT AND METHODS
Various embodiments of implant systems and related apparatus, and methods of operating the same are disclosed. In various embodiments, an implant for interfacing with a bone structure includes a web structure, including a space truss, configured to interface with human bone tissue. The space truss includes two or more planar truss units having a plurality of struts joined at nodes. Implants include one or more flexible struts that impart flexibility to the implant.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR OPTIMIZED SPINAL FIXATION
Devices and methods are provided for optimized spinal fixation using additive manufacturing techniques to create implants with optimized structure for various surgical approaches, anatomies, etc. One exemplary embodiment includes a cage having an X-shaped connection that can bear a load during cage impaction. The cage can be additively manufactured to incorporate features such as variable wall thickness or material density to adjust properties of the cage, including load bearing capability, flexibility, radiolucency, etc. The cage can further include one or more of the connectors disposed between upper and lower endplates. In some embodiments, the cage can include a feature for coupling an insertion device thereto for introducing the cage into the body of a patient. In some embodiments, a plate can be appended to or integrally formed with a proximal end of the cage to assist with securing the cage to vertebral bodies.
Arthrodesis implant and instrument for gripping such an implant
An arthrodesis implant (1) allowing promoting the bone fusion of two bones is provided, the implant (1) comprising: a rigid and non-deformable anchoring body (4), designed to ensure the anchoring of the implant (1) in a first bone (2), and a deformable portion (5) designed to ensure the anchoring of the implant (1) in a second bone. The deformable portion (5) comprises at least two anchoring arms (9, 10) which protrude beyond the anchoring body (4) from the base end (7) of the anchoring body (4), the anchoring arms (9, 10) being separated from each other by a free space (E) so as to be able to be brought closer to each other by deformation of the anchoring arms under the action of the second bone. At least one of the anchoring arms (9, 10) is provided with a longitudinal reinforcing fin protruding beyond the anchoring arm (9, 10) from a lateral side (20) of the anchoring arm (9, 10).
Joint arthrodesis system
A joint arthrodesis system adapted for use in joint surgeries. Among other things, the joint implant has an anterior cutting edge and a rotatable cutter supported by a rotatable shaft.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SPINAL FACET FUSION
A spinal facet fusion implant comprising: an elongated body having a distal end, a proximal end and a longitudinal axis extending between the distal end and the proximal end, the elongated body being characterized by a superior body surface and an inferior body surface; a superior stabilizer extending outwardly from the superior body surface, the superior stabilizer being characterized by a superior stabilizer surface; and an inferior stabilizer extending outwardly from the inferior body surface, the inferior stabilizer being characterized by an inferior stabilizer surface; wherein (i) the superior body surface and the inferior body surface are tapered relative to one another, and/or (ii) the superior stabilizer surface and the inferior stabilizer surface are tapered relative to one another.
DURAL REPAIR DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
Dural repair devices that are configured to effectively and reliably repair the damage of a dural tear due to incidental durotomies are provided, along with methods of use. The devices and methods enhance the ability of a surgeon to repair a patients dura mater, or dura, during surgery of the central nervous system. The dural repair device has a multi-layer structure configured to exert a pressure or tamponade effect to compress a patient's dura to its state prior to the spinal surgery. Thus, the dural repair devices and methods of use may reduce the patients risk morbidity, further surgery, spinal headaches, or other injuries and discomforts.
Intervertebral spinal implant
An intervertebral implant for implantation in an intervertebral space between vertebrae. The implant includes a body extending from an upper surface to a lower surface. The body has a front end, a rear end and a pair of spaced apart first and second side walls extending between the front and rear walls such that an internal chamber is defined within the front and rear ends and the first and second walls. The body defines an outer perimeter and an inner perimeter extending about the internal chamber. At least one of the side walls is defined by an integral porous structure.
Implant delivery system
A delivery device includes a guide tool and an impact tool. The guide tool includes an elongate body formed with a longitudinal guide channel, whose inner perimeter is made to complement an outer contour of an implant. The elongate body is formed with a longitudinal impact-tool channel, whose inner perimeter is made to complement an outer contour of the impact tool.
