Sacropelvic fusion implant system for providing a foundation for spinopelvic fixation constructs in adult spinal deformity surgery
A method of surgically treating a patient suffering from severe pain and disability of the low back and buttock by stabilizing the patient's spinal column to their pelvis with an implant system including surgical tools and an implant designed to prevent movement between the sacrum and the ilium while being able to attach to a spinal fusion rod which connect to pedicle screws implanted in the bones of the spine of the patient in order to offer lasting relief of the patient's symptoms. The system is designed to address complications in adult spinal deformity by optimizing spinopelvic fixation vis--vis the unique biomechanics of the SI joint. The sacropelvic system is a surgical solution which provides an additively manufactured implant at the base of the spine employing an S2AI trajectory while utilizing assisting technologies including surgical navigation and intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring.
DYNAMIC INTERVERTEBRAL SPACER IMPLANT
Intervertebral spacer implants with dynamic load spreading features responsive to external loads and having attachment mechanisms. The dynamic load spreading features having a native state and a loaded state, which complements vertebral end plate geometry and disperses load to the epiphyseal rim.

Spinal implant with unit structure printed using 3D printer
Provided is a spinal implant having a unit structure printed by using a 3D printer, which is inserted between a vertebra and an adjacent vertebra and in which unit bodies constituted by at least one or more circular rings are repeated with a certain pattern. The spinal implant may implement elastic force like the existing vertebrae while bone fusion is performed as well as a state in which the bone fusion is completed after a procedure to obtain superior procedure results.
REVISION PROSTHESIS SHAFT FOR A REVISION JOINT ENDOPROSTHESIS
The invention relates to a revision prosthesis shaft of a revision joint endoprosthesis for anchoring in an elongate bone (9), in particular femur. The surface is designed for adhesive agent-free fastening in the proximal epimetaphysis (91) and the diaphysis (92) of the bone. According to the invention, a distal epimetaphyseal extension (2) is provided at the far end of the shaft (12), the tip of which extension reaches into the distal epimetaphysis (93) of the bone. The extension (2) is designed for fastening in the distal epimetaphysis (93) by means of an adhesive agent (3), in particular bone cement. The invention combines the advantages of cement-free fastening, namely of the shaft in itself in the diaphysis (92), with the advantages of cemented fastening, namely of the extension in the distal epimetaphysis (93). Even in difficult cases in which sufficient hold previously could not be achieved for lack of fastening distance in the diaphysis, stable anchoring can thus be achieved. This increases the safety and longevity of the revision. The invention further relates to a corresponding implantation method.
INTERVERTEBRAL IMPLANT AND METHOD OF USE
An implant and method for fusing adjacent spinal vertebrae is disclosed. In an embodiment for a spinal implant of the present invention, the implant includes a spacer body assembly and two retention members. The two retention members each include split fork tangs wherein the tangs of each retention member are simultaneously extendable from the spacer body assembly into the adjacent vertebra. A method of fusing adjacent vertebrae includes the step of inserting an implant between adjacent vertebrae with retention members. The method also includes the step of configuring the retention members wherein a portion of each tang of a retention member simultaneously extends from the implant into one of the adjacent vertebra.
Joint Arthrodesis System
A joint arthrodesis system adapted for use in joint surgeries. Among other things, the joint implant has an anterior cutting edge and a rotatable cutter supported by a rotatable shaft.
Spinal implant system and method
A method for treating a spine is provided. The method includes the steps of: disposing an interbody implant adjacent a posterior portion of an intervertebral disc space; connecting a surgical instrument with at least one fixation element fastened with tissue adjacent the posterior portion; and manipulating the surgical instrument such that tissue adjacent the posterior portion engages the interbody implant and one or more vertebra rotate about the interbody implant. Spinal implants, surgical instruments and systems are disclosed.
HIP JOINT DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
An implantable medical device for implantation in a hip joint is provided. The medical device comprises: at least one artificial hip joint surface adapted to replace at least the surface of at least one of the caput femur and acetabulum. At least one artificial hip joint surface comprises: a positioning hole with at least one opening in said at least one artificial hip joint surface. The hole is adapted to be placed and dimensioned such that the medical device is adapted to be fitted using a positioning shaft and at least partly surround the shaft, for positioning the at least one artificial hip joint surface in a desired position in the hip joint. The hole is adapted to be fitted using the positioning shaft, when the shaft is stabilized and placed in at least one of the femoral bone and the pelvic bone for positioning said medical device inside the hip joint.
