BERRY HARVESTER FILLING SYSTEM
20250008877 · 2025-01-09 ·

A fruit harvester includes a chassis, a fruit removal system, a fruit delivery system, and a container delivery system for automatically delivering individual containers. A container filling station receives fruit from the fruit delivery system and fills individual containers. The container delivery system automatically separates a bottommost container from a stack of the containers. The container delivery system includes a support framework defining a vertical open shaft configured for supporting a stack of containers. An elevator carriage moves vertically below the stack of containers. Retractable clamps engage edges of the containers in an extended position.

AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING TRASH FROM A FLOW OF HARVESTED CROP WITHIN AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER

A system for removing trash from a flow of harvested crop within an agricultural harvester may include a chopper assembly and a cleaning assembly downstream of the chopper assembly relative to the flow of harvested crop. An upstream side of the cleaning assembly may be positioned closer to the chopper assembly than a downstream side of the cleaning assembly. The cleaning assembly may include a screen and a fan, with the fan positioned at least partially between the upstream and downstream sides of the cleaning assembly. The fan may generate a flow of air in a first direction such that the flow of air passes through the upstream side before the downstream side of the cleaning assembly. Additionally, the screen may be movable along a travel path relative to the fan such that a portion of the screen is movable between the upstream and downstream sides of the cleaning assembly.

Apparatus, systems and methods are provided for monitoring yield while harvesting grain. Grain released from paddles on the clean grain elevator chain of a harvester contacts a flow sensor which reports the rate of grain flow through the clean grain elevator. In some embodiments a brush is mounted to the chain and disposed to clean the flow sensor surface. In other embodiments a bucket mounted to the clean grain elevator chain releases grain against the flow sensor at a rate dependent on a grain property.

A shaft and sprocket assembly having an elongate shaft, a sprocket wheel and at least one bracket member. The sprocket wheel encircles and engages the shaft wherein torque is transferrable between the shaft and the sprocket wheel. The sprocket wheel includes radially outwardly extending teeth and is formed by a plurality of sprocket members. Each of the sprocket members defines an angular portion of the sprocket wheel less than 360 degrees. The bracket member detachably secures the individual plurality of sprocket members together thereby allowing the sprocket members to be easily removed from and installed on the shaft. The bracket member is positioned such that no torque is directly transferred from the shaft to the bracket member. The shaft and sprocket assembly can be used in a variety of applications including in the feederhouse of an agricultural combine.

A crop unloader system comprising: an elevator assembly, a boom assembly, a flexible drive, and a tensioning assembly. The elevator assembly has a frame, an elevator drive and drive motor, and an elevator drive output. The boom assembly has a frame connected to the elevator frame at a boom pivot axis to rotate through a range of motion, and an unloader drive input. The flexible drive is operatively connected between the elevator drive output and the unloader drive input. The tensioning assembly has a tensioner link and a control link that are pivotally to each other and with one of the two links each pivotally connected to one of the boom and elevator frame. An idler wheel is on the tensioner link. The tensioning assembly maintains a tension load on the endless flexible drive within a predetermined range, throughout the range of motion of the boom frame.
