A motorized desktop stand unit having a main surface assembly designed to accommodate a monitor or laptop and a secondary surface assembly designed to accommodate a keyboard. The desktop stand unit also has a frame assembly having an upper frame and a lower frame. An elevation mechanism is provided between the upper frame and lower frame. A switch provided in the main surface assembly, when actuated, causes the elevation mechanism to adjust the space between the upper frame and lower frames, changing the height of the main surface assembly.

A multipurpose table may include an inner recessed area having a floor, a ledge around at least a portion of the perimeter of the table, and one or more rails between the floor and the ledge. The floor may be adjustable between various heights. A plurality of table covers may rest on the rails and be flush with the ledge. Table accessories may include attachment mechanisms for securing the accessories to the ledge. The attachment mechanisms may include stops insertable through a top surface of the table surface proximate the rail, and a cavity securable around the ledge. A stop receiver may also be positioned around the ledge and capable for receiving the stop.

An adjustable desk platform can include: an upper platform defining a substantially planar work surface; a base located beneath the upper platform, the base defining a bottom surface without legs that is adapted to sit on an existing desk; first and second sets of arms coupling the upper platform to the base, wherein the first and second sets of arms are adapted for movement of the upper platform substantially in parallel with the base between a fully raised position and a fully lowered position; and a user-operable locking mechanism associated with the upper platform, the locking mechanism adapted to releasably lock the upper platform in the fully raised position, and in at least one intermediate position between the fully raised position and the fully lowered position. A modular table assembly comprising first and second table units, each table unit including a top planar surface, a bottom surface and a plurality of respective first and second unit foot connectors located on the bottom surfaces of the table units. The assembly further comprising a plurality of foot members for supporting the first and second table units and being selectively connectable in one of a first configuration in which unit connectors are connected to a corresponding one of the first unit foot connectors and to a corresponding one of the second unit foot connectors to thereby connect together the first and second table units positioned adjacent each other, and a second configuration in which the unit connectors are all connected to a single one of the first and second unit foot connectors.

A modular table assembly comprising first and second table units, each table unit including a top planar surface, a bottom surface and a plurality of respective first and second unit foot connectors located on the bottom surfaces of the table units. The assembly further comprising a plurality of foot members for supporting the first and second table units and being selectively connectable in one of a first configuration in which unit connectors are connected to a corresponding one of the first unit foot connectors and to a corresponding one of the second unit foot connectors to thereby connect together the first and second table units positioned adjacent each other, and a second configuration in which the unit connectors are all connected to a single one of the first and second unit foot connectors.
