Stabilized knee prosthesis
A knee prosthesis includes a femoral component, a tibial component, and a coupling component interconnecting the femoral component and the tibial component. The tibial component includes ball. The femoral component is configured to move relative to the tibial component. The coupling component defines an internal cavity including a first spherical end portion and a second spherical end portion. The internal cavity is dimensioned to receive the ball of the tibial component. The ball is repositioned between the first spherical end portion and the second spherical end portion of the internal cavity upon movement of the femoral component relative to the tibial component.
Shoulder Joint Prosthesis
Provided is a shoulder joint prosthesis. The shoulder joint prosthesis may include an outer cup, a lining, a ball head and a humeral shank, and the outer cup, the lining and the ball head are nested in sequence. Herein, the outer cup may include an outer cup body and a first limiting convex wall configured at an opening of the outer cup body, the outer cup body has a first spherical inner cavity. The lining may include a hemispherical housing body and a second limiting convex wall and a third limiting convex wall configured at an opening of the hemispherical housing body, the hemispherical housing body has a second spherical inner cavity, the second limiting convex wall and the third limiting convex wall limit the ball head to leave the second spherical inner cavity, and the hemispherical housing body is provided with a groove for avoiding the humeral shank.
Shoulder Prosthesis with Variable Inclination Humeral Head Component
Methods and devices are disclosed for joint (e.g., shoulder) arthroplasty. In one aspect, there is provided a device for determining inclination and/or version of a prosthetic head with respect to a prosthetic stem. In another aspect, there is provided a joint (e.g., shoulder) prosthesis. In another aspect, there is provided a method for setting an inclination angle and/or a version angle of a prosthetic head with respect to a stem implanted or to be implanted in a bone of a joint (e.g., shoulder).
Implant for a bone joint
An implant (30) for a mammalian bone joint (3) for spacing a first bone (2) of the joint from a second bone (1) of the joint while allowing translational movement of the second bone in relation to the first bone is described. The implant comprises (a) a distal part (31) configured for intramedullary engagement with an end of the second bone, (b) a proximal part (34) having a platform (15) configured for non-engaging abutment of an end of the first bone and translational movement thereon, and (c) an articulating coupling (10, 16) provided between the distal and proximal ends allowing controlled articulation of the first and second bones. The bone-abutting platform is shaped to conform to and translate upon the end of the first bone. A kit for assembly to form the implant of the invention, and the use of the implant to treat osteoarthritis in a bone joint, are also described.
System and Method for Navigating and Illustrating a Procedure
Disclosed is a system to assist in a procedure. During the procedure an object may be moved relative to a subject, such as being positioned and/or placed within a subject. The system and related method may be used to assist in displaying and/or determining a pose of the object relative to a subject, such as rigid portions of a subject.

Hip Joint Method
A method of treating a hip joint of a human is provided. The method comprises a step of dissecting an area of the pelvic bone, comprising at least one of the following: dissecting an area between peritoneum and the pelvic bone, dissecting an area between the pelvic bone and the surrounding tissue, dissecting an area of the pelvic region, and dissecting an area of the inguinal region, or, the method comprises at least two of the following steps: dissecting an area of the abdominal cavity, penetrating the hip joint capsule, dissecting an area between peritoneum and the pelvic bone, dissecting an area of the pelvic bone which comprises: dissecting an area between the pelvic bone and the surrounding tissue, or dissecting an area of the pelvic region, or dissecting an area of the inguinal region, and removing or penetrating the tissue surrounding the pelvic bone in the area opposite to acetabulum.
Laterally insertable intervertebral spinal implant
An intervertebral implant for implantation in an intervertebral space between vertebrae. The implant includes a body having a front end, a rear end and a pair of spaced apart first and second side walls extending between the front and rear ends. The front and rear ends extend in a transverse direction and a central axis of the body extends from the rear end to the front end. The rear end defines a first fastener hole having a first central axis and a second fastener hole having a second central axis. The first and second central axes extend parallel to one another at an acute angle relative to the body central axis in the transverse direction.
Expandable interbody spacer
An expandable interbody spacer for the spine is provided. The interbody spacer includes a housing, upper and lower endplates, an anterior actuator, a posterior actuator, an anterior drive screw, and a posterior drive screw. The anterior and posterior drive screws are independently or simultaneously rotated with respect to each other by a driver to wedge one or more of the anterior and posterior actuators between the endplates moving them into parallel and/or angular expansion.
