A method of joint replacement including forming one or more arthroscopy portals adjacent a hip joint that includes, a femur with a femoral head and a pelvis with an acetabulum socket, inserting a hemiarthroplasty cup, having a cup inner surface and a cup outer surface, between a femoral head outer surface of the femoral head and an acetabulum outer surface of the acetabulum socket, wherein at least one of the femoral head outer surface and the acetabulum outer surface are unreamed.

A method of trialing an intervertebral disc space, comprising the steps of :

a) creating the disc space,

b) inserting a trial into the disc space, the trial having i) a distal head having an upper surface and a lower surface connected by a pair of side walls, the side walls defining planes, and ii) a proximal rod,

wherein the head and rod form an obtuse angle, and

wherein the rod extends through at least one of the planes defined by the side walls of the head.

An implant includes a plate having a plurality of fastener holes, the plurality of fastener holes being configured to receive a plurality of fasteners, respectively; a spacer coupled to the plate and configured to be inserted into a treatment region; and a fastener lock movably coupled to the plate and configured to lock the plurality of fasteners.
