Ergonomic seating system, tilt-lock control and remote powering method and apparatus
A work environment adjustment system includes multiple instances of controllable office equipment located within an office space, each instance associated with a specific office location and including an activator for controlling states of the instance, at least one presence sensor for detecting user presence within each space associated with each instance, and a master controller linked to each office equipment activator to control activation of each activator to control a current state of each instance. The master controller is programmed to perform the steps of receiving sensor signals from the at least a first presence sensor, determining user presence at each space associated with each instance, controlling states at each of the instances independent of user input when the space associated with the instance is vacant, and enabling user control of the state of each instance associated with a space that is occupied by a user.
Adjustable height desk with acoustical dome
A novel workstation which incorporates an acoustical dome for increased acoustic and visual privacy for the user. The workstation further is adjustable in height such that it is able to accommodate a range of users from the 5.sup.th percentile seated female to the 95.sup.th percentile standing male according to the dictates of ANSI/HFES100-2007 national ergonomic standard. The workstation is further designed to be in electrical and data communication with other workstations to optimize the workstation density in an open working environment without compromising user privacy.

HIGH PRODUCTIVITY CONFIGURABLE WORKSTATION WITH MULTI-TIERED WORK PLATFORM
A workstation includes a work surface disposed in a first horizontal plane and a multi-tiered food preparation receptacle positioned adjacent the work surface. The multi-tiered food preparation receptacle includes a first pair of rails and a second pair of rails. The first pair of rails defines a second horizontal plane and the second pair of rails defines a third horizontal plane. The third horizontal plane is located below the second horizontal plane and the second horizontal plane is located below the first horizontal plane. The first pair of rails and the second pair of rails are configured to receive items of food service equipment and permit the items of food service equipment to translate in the multi-tiered food preparation receptacle relative to one another without interference.
Surgical Tables
A surgical table having a tabletop and a column for enabling at least a part of the tabletop to be rotatable about a trend axis extending in a transverse direction across the tabletop; and an actuator mechanism coupled between the movable framework and the column and arranged to raise and lower the movable framework and the trend axis relative to the column and to rotate the movable framework about the trend axis, wherein the actuator mechanism is fitted to an external surface of the outer column element and is adapted to move the movable framework between a lowermost position, at which the trend axis extends through an upper part of the outer column element which surrounds the inner column element when the column elements are telescoped into the contracted configuration, and an uppermost position, at which the trend axis is spaced at spacing height from an uppermost part of the column
Telescopic column with internal cable
The present application relates to a telescopic column (1) comprising a lower part (10) having a first end constituting a first end (4) of the telescopic column, an upper part (20) telescopically moveable relative to the lower part and having a first end constituting a second end (5) of the telescopic column opposite said first end of the telescopic column, a drive mechanism (2) configured to provide telescopic movement between the lower part and the upper part, an cable (30) extending inside the telescopic column, and a cable guiding means (50) coupled to a tensioning device (52) arranged at the second end of the telescopic column. The tensioning device is configured to control the position of the cable guiding means in the telescopic column based on the telescopic extension of the column, and the cable extends through the column via the cable guiding means. The present application further relates to an adjustable furniture (100) comprising at least one telescopic column.
