Adjustable Height Desk with Acoustical Dome
The present invention is directed to a novel workstation which incorporates an acoustical dome for increased acoustic and visual privacy for the user. The workstation further is adjustable in height such that it can accommodate a range of users from the 5.sup.th percentile seated female to the 95.sup.th percentile standing male according to the dictates of ANSI/HFES100-2007 national ergonomic standard. The workstation is further designed to be in electrical and data communication with other workstations to optimize the workstation density in an open working environment without compromising user privacy.

CANTILEVERED DESK AND COMPONENTS AND METHOD FOR THE USE THEREOF
A desk includes a frame, a coupled to the frame, and a height adjustable support column assembly coupled to the frame with a lower mounting member extending under a bottom edge of the skin and an upper mounting member extending over a top edge of the skin. A worksurface is coupled to the support column assembly and is cantilevered outwardly relative to the support column assembly. A power grommet embedded in the worksurface includes a housing, at least a first and second outlet block disposed in the housing, and a lid pivotally connected to the housing. The lid is pivotable between an open position, wherein the first and second outlet blocks are exposed along a top of the housing, and a closed position, wherein the first outlet block is exposed along a top of the housing and the second outlet block is covered by the lid.
CANTILEVERED DESK AND COMPONENTS AND METHOD FOR THE USE THEREOF

GAS-OPERATED LIFTING TABLE
A gas-operated lifting table provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure, includes a pedestal, a column assembly, and a panel assembly, the column is detachably coupled to the pedestal and the panel assembly, the panel assembly includes an operating member, the column assembly includes a fastening column fastened to the pedestal and a sliding column movable relative to the fastening column, the gas-operated lifting table further includes a controllable gas spring arranged within the column assembly and detachably coupled to the column assembly, when the operating member is pressed against the controllable gas spring, the sliding column is movable relative to the fastening column in a direction away from or toward the pedestal. The gas-operated lifting table provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure has a simple structure and is flexible to operate.
GAS-OPERATED LIFTING TABLE
A gas-operated lifting table provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure, includes a pedestal, a column assembly, and a panel assembly, the column is detachably coupled to the pedestal and the panel assembly, the panel assembly includes an operating member, the column assembly includes a fastening column fastened to the pedestal and a sliding column movable relative to the fastening column, the gas-operated lifting table further includes a controllable gas spring arranged within the column assembly and detachably coupled to the column assembly, when the operating member is pressed against the controllable gas spring, the sliding column is movable relative to the fastening column in a direction away from or toward the pedestal. The gas-operated lifting table provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure has a simple structure and is flexible to operate.
Vertically Adjustable Desk with Under-Carriage Mounting System
A vertically adjustable desk with an under carriage mounting system is described. The vertically adjustable desk may have a planar work surface and telescoping support legs which are operable to raise and lower the work surface. The vertically adjustable telescoping support legs may be height adjustable by at least one electronic motor. The under-carriage mounting system may include a first and a second U-shaped support bracket that each receives a first and second runner support, the U-shaped brackets affixed to respective first and second vertically adjustable telescoping support legs. The U-shaped support brackets may be used to mount accessories underneath the work surface.
Vertically Adjustable Desk with Under-Carriage Mounting System
A vertically adjustable desk with an under carriage mounting system is described. The vertically adjustable desk may have a planar work surface and telescoping support legs which are operable to raise and lower the work surface. The vertically adjustable telescoping support legs may be height adjustable by at least one electronic motor. The under-carriage mounting system may include a first and a second U-shaped support bracket that each receives a first and second runner support, the U-shaped brackets affixed to respective first and second vertically adjustable telescoping support legs. The U-shaped support brackets may be used to mount accessories underneath the work surface.
VARIABLE HEIGHT PLATFORM SYSTEM
A variable height platform system comprises a frame assembly, at least two leg assemblies, a drive mechanism, and a sensor. The frame assembly is configured to support and be removably connected to a tabletop. The drive mechanism is configured to either extend or retract each leg assembly in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis to set a height of the frame assembly in an elevated position for use. The sensor is configured to sense position and movement of a user in a predetermined area including an area of the variable height platform system and an area proximate the variable height platform system. The controller is operatively connected to the sensor and drive mechanism. The controller is configured to operate the drive mechanism in response to the sensor sensing the position and movement of the user in the predetermined area.
