VARIABLE HEIGHT PLATFORM SYSTEM
A variable height platform system comprises a frame assembly, at least two leg assemblies, a drive mechanism, and a sensor. The frame assembly is configured to support and be removably connected to a tabletop. The drive mechanism is configured to either extend or retract each leg assembly in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis to set a height of the frame assembly in an elevated position for use. The sensor is configured to sense position and movement of a user in a predetermined area including an area of the variable height platform system and an area proximate the variable height platform system. The controller is operatively connected to the sensor and drive mechanism. The controller is configured to operate the drive mechanism in response to the sensor sensing the position and movement of the user in the predetermined area.
WORKSTATION CONTROLLER FOR A POWER-ACTUATED WORKSTATION
A workstation controller includes a processor. A memory, a first drive control output, a first current sensor, and one or more user operable controls are each communicatively coupled to the processor. When the workstation controller is communicatively connected to a first drive controller that operates at least a first workstation actuator, the processor is configured to (i) receive, from the first current sensor, a first current reading of electrical current flowing from the first drive controller to the first workstation actuator, and (ii) in response to the processor determining that the first current reading exceeds a predetermined current threshold associated with obstructive interference, transmit to the first drive controller, by way of the drive control output, one or more commands to operate the first workstation actuator to perform a safety protocol stored in the memory.
Steam ironing and/or smoothing appliance comprising an ironing board that can be immobilized in various tilted positions
A steam ironing and/or smoothing appliance including an ironing board against which a garment to be ironed can be placed for a steam treatment, the ironing board being mounted with the ability to pivot by a hinge device enabling the ironing board to be immobilized in various tilted positions, the hinge device including a first part which is mobile in rotation in relation to a second part, the first part including at least one notch in which is engaged at least one locking element carried by the second part in order to prevent the hinge device from rotating, wherein the second part is mobile in translation in relation to the first part according to a course and a direction enabling the locking element to engage and disengage in the notch.

TELESCOPIC TUBE ASSEMBLY FOR HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE TABLE
A telescopic tube assembly includes an outer tube and an inner tube which is telescopically inserted in the outer tube. A first stabilizing unit and a second stabilizing unit respectively located in a gap between the inner and outer tubes to make the inner tube stably moved relative to the outer tube. The first stabilizing unit includes two plates. The outer surface of each of the two plates 31 is in contact with the inner surface of the outer tube, and the inner surface of each of the two plates is in contact with the outer surface of the inner tube. The inner tube is easily assembled to the outer tube by the first and second stabilizing units.

BENCHING SYSTEM FOR VERTICALLY ADJUSTABLE DESKS
A vertically adjustable desk benching system wherein a plurality of desks may be joined together. The vertically adjustable desks may each have a planar work surface and telescoping support legs which are operable to raise and lower the work surface. The vertically adjustable support legs may be telescoping legs. The benching system may include a main bracket which attaches to a plurality of adjoining vertically adjustable desks while a first and a second end bracket may attached front facing desks on either side of the centrally adjoining main bracket.

PORTABLE, CONVERTIBLE, AND MODULAR LAP DESK
A portable, convertible, and modular lap desk for use with various types of electronic devices. In some cases, the lap desk may be configured with extendible legs to provide a plurality of adjustable height positions. For instance, the legs may include a closed position, a partially extended position, and a fully extended position for use in different situations. The lap desk may also include on board power supplies, various compartments for storing the electronic devices and on boarding cabling and cable routing to more efficiently organize and couple multiple devices.
GLIDE BEARING ARRANGEMENT FOR TELESCOPING SUPPORT COLUMNS
A glide bearing for guiding axial movement between inner and outer telescoping columns may include first and second spaced apart contact surfaces, and a resilient wall extending therebetween and having an outer convex surface defining an apex. A span between the apex and a plane defined between the first and second contact surfaces is greater than a width of a space between the outer surface of the inner column and the inner surface of the outer column. The glide bearing is configured to be disposed within the space with the first and second contact surfaces contacting the outer surface of the inner column, with the apex contacting the inner surface of the outer column and with the resilient wall deflecting inwardly toward the plane to accommodate the space in response to a force of the inner surface of the outer column acting against the apex.
