A table arrangement includes connection mechanisms for inter-connection of height adjustable tabletops so that the tabletops are independently moveable in a stable way. Embodiments of the table arrangement can be configured so that different height adjustable tabletops can be arranged to accommodate different users' preferences. Some embodiments of the table arrangement can utilize at least one cross-member connection mechanism connected to at least one column connection mechanisms 20.

Liftable table foot frame that is easily assembled

A liftable table foot frame (1) that is easily assembled includes a horizontal frame body (10), a post (20), a side wing (30) and a linking mechanism (40). The horizontal frame body (10) includes a horizontal rod (11). One end of the post (20) pivotally connects to the horizontal rod (11). The side wing (30) includes a plate body (31) and inserting blocks (32) connected to the plate body (31). The inserting blocks (32) separately couple with an end of the horizontal rod (11). The linking mechanism (40) connects the post (20) and the side wing (30). When the post (20) is turned out relative to the horizontal rod (11), the inserting blocks (32) are driven toward the horizontal rod (11) through the linking mechanism (40) to tense and position. Thus, easiness and convenience of assembling can be increased.

A desk includes a base and a work surface assembly mounted on the base. The work surface assembly has a board and a leg having opposite ends connected to the board and the base. The leg has an inclined section and a straight section, and the board has a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. A distance between the first end of the board and the straight section of the leg is greater than that of between the second end of the board and the straight section of the leg. The boards of the work surface assemblies are arranged in a row or two rows of a matrix. Therefore, the work surface assemblies are combinative to be mounted on the base to have various layouts of the boards.

VARIABLE HEIGHT DESK

A desk having a desktop and a lever coupled to a lower surface of the desktop. The desk has leg coupled to the lower surface and including an inner leg telescopically moveable with respect to an outer leg. The desk has a pin extending through an aperture in the outer leg and coupled to the lever with a linkage system. The lever is configured to retract the pin into the inner leg or outer leg allowing the desktop to move between a first height and a second height.

An electrically adjustable piece of furniture comprises a first and at least one second actuator for adjusting a component of the piece of furniture and a controller for controlling the first and at least one second actuator. The actuators each have a first element and a second element which are displaceable relative to each other, and a sensor attached to the first element and adapted to measure a distance between the first and second elements. The distance measurement is based on a time-of-flight measurement of a wave. The controller is arranged to determine an absolute position of each actuator from the respectively measured distance.
