EXPANDABLE FUSION DEVICE AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION THEREOF
The present invention provides an expandable fusion device capable of being installed inside an intervertebral disc space to maintain normal disc spacing and restore spinal stability, thereby facilitating an intervertebral fusion. In one embodiment, the fusion device includes a body portion, a first endplate, and a second endplate, the first and second endplates capable of being moved in a direction away from the body portion into an expanded configuration or capable of being moved towards the body portion into an unexpanded configuration. The fusion device is capable of being deployed and installed in both configurations.
TOTAL ANKLE REPLACEMENT TRIAL AND PREPARATION SYSTEMS, GUIDES, INSTRUMENTS AND RELATED METHODS
Instruments, guides, systems and related methods for total ankle prostheses are disclosed. The instruments, guides, systems and related methods facilitate preparation of a tibia and/or talus of a patient for implantation of a total ankle prosthesis therein. The instruments, guides, systems and related methods also facilitate selection of a particular size of a tibial component, a talus component and/or a tibial insert of the total ankle prosthesis that suits the patient. The instruments, guides, systems and related methods include a tibial trial component, a talar trial component and tibial insert trial component that replicate one or more aspects of the tibial component, the talus component and the tibial insert, respectively, of the total ankle prosthesis. The talar trial component includes an articulation surface that articulates with the tibial insert trial component, and slots that facilitate chamfered resection of the patient's talus for the implantation of the talus component thereon.
SPINAL IMPLANT DEVICE
An example spinal device including an upper plate, a lower plate, at least one front link pivotably coupled to a front portion of the upper plate and pivotably coupled to a front portion of the lower plate, and at least one rear link pivotably coupled to a rear portion of the upper plate and pivotably coupled to a rear portion of the lower plate. The spinal device is selectively movable from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration. The spinal device is moved from the collapsed configuration to the expanded configuration by moving the upper plate relative to the lower plate, the moving of the upper plate relative to the lower plate including pivoting of the front link and the rear link relative to the upper plate and the lower plate, the pivoting of the front link and the rear link causing vertical separation of the upper plate relative to the lower plate.
Disc replacement device and method of use
A disc replacement device including a first body member with a convex articulation surface and a second body member with a concave articulation surface is disclosed. When operably positioned, the convex articulation surface engages the concave articulation surface to provide for movement therebetween. The disc replacement device also includes a first opening in the first body member and a second opening in the second body member, wherein the openings are angled and extends from the front aspects of the body members through the external surfaces. The disc replacement device further includes at least two bone fasteners for insertion into the first and second openings to secure the disc replacement device to a first and second vertebra. An interbody motion device and fusion implant, as well as a surgical method for implantation are also disclosed.
Bone fusion system
A method and system for performing bone fusion and/or securing one or more bones, such as adjacent vertebra, are disclosed. The screws include a threaded tip connected to a main shaft and a threaded outer sleeve that rotates relative to the outer shaft until locked down. Independent rotation of the threaded outer sleeve relative to the threaded distal tip allows compression or distraction to modify the gap between the vertebral bodies. The screws are passed from the inferior to superior vertebra or superior to inferior, for example, through a trans-pedicular route to avoid neurological compromise. At the same time, the path of screw insertion is oriented to reach superior or inferior vertebra. An intervertebral cage of the system is configured for lateral expansion from a nearly straight configuration to form a large footprint in the disc space. The screws and cage may be combined for improved fixation with minimal invasiveness.

EXPANDABLE INTERBODY IMPLANT DEVICE
Disclosed herein are aspects of expandable interbody devices having an unobstructed graft material containment space. Such expandable interbody devices have a structure in which an overall plan view area of the graft material containment space is devoid of elements of the expandable interbody device enabling adjustment of the expandable interbody devices between a collapsed configuration and displaced configuration (e.g., an expanded configuration and/or a tilted configuration). In this manner, expandable interbody devices configured in accordance with embodiments of the disclosures made herein do not have obstructions within the graft material containment space thereof that limit the available volume of graft material and associated bony material growth that may be contained within the graft material containment space.
MODULAR BONE MODEL
A modular bone model can include a bone component and an implant component that can be positioned on the bone component. The implant component can be shaped and sized to correspond to a head component of a medical implant to simulate an articulating surface of the head component. Similarly, the bone component can be shaped to simulate a natural bone to which the medical implant can be mounted. Alternatively, the head component of the medical implant can be mounted directly to the bone component to simulate the mounting on the natural bone.
Cage having spike
The present invention relates to a cage which is inserted between vertebral bodies of a cervical vertebra or spine during an operation for treating a cervical disc disease, myelosis, or fracture of the cervical vertebra or spine, and more particularly, to a cage with spikes, including upper and lower spikes which are attached to a clip inserted into a main body of the cage, unfolded upward and downward from the main body, and locked to vertebral bodies of a cervical vertebra or spine positioned at the top and bottom of the cage such that the cage is fixed and locked between the vertebral bodies.
