Expandable interbody spacer device
An expandable interbody spacer (10) is provided that includes a pair of oppositely facing endplate components (20, 40) and an interior component that includes one or more vertically extending stacks of arranged C-clip members (70) radially surrounding one or more bosses (30) protruding interiorly from one of the endplates, wherein the size and configuration of the bosses and the C-clip members are designed to allow the incremental expansion of expandable interbody spacer.
Expandable spinal implant system and method
A spinal implant includes a first member having a wall that defines an axial cavity. A second member extends between a first end and a second end and defines a longitudinal axis. The second member is configured for disposal with the axial cavity and translation relative to the first member. A third member has an outer surface engageable with tissue and an inner surface disposed to dynamically engage the first end in response to the engagement of the outer surface with the tissue. Systems and methods are disclosed.
EXPANDABLE FUSION DEVICE AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION THEREOF
The present invention provides an expandable fusion device capable of being installed inside an intervertebral disc space to maintain normal disc spacing and restore spinal stability, thereby facilitating an intervertebral fusion. In one embodiment, the fusion device includes a central ramp, a first endplate, and a second endplate, the central ramp capable of being moved in a first direction to move the first and second endplates outwardly and into an expanded configuration. The fusion device is capable of being deployed down an endoscopic tube.
Remotely-activated vertebroplasty injection device
A remotely-activated injection device for use in vertebroplasty is provided to inject a flourescent probe material into a patient. The injection device includes a pump defining an injection chamber having an exit opening; an actuator; and a cable having a first end coupled to the actuator, and a second end remotely engaging the pump. The actuator remotely controls the pump by responsive movement of the cable to thereby cause injection of a flourescent probe material from the injection chamber of the pump through the exit opening to the patient.
EXPANDABLE IMPLANT ASSEMBLY
An expandable implant is disclosed. The expandable implant includes a base member having a top surface and a bottom surface opposite the top surface, and an adjustable member adjustably coupled to the base member and movable between a first, collapsed position, and a second, expanded position. The adjustable member has a top surface and a bottom surface opposite the top surface. The top surface of the adjustable member and the bottom surface of the base member form a first angle while the adjustable member is in the first, collapsed position, and the top surface of the adjustable member and the bottom surface of the base member form a second angle while the adjustable member is in the second, expanded position. The first angle is different from the second angle.
EXPANDABLE INTERVERTEBRAL FUSION IMPLANT
An expandable intervertebral fusion implant, including an inferior component, including a first top surface, a first bottom surface, a first end including a first worm rotatably arranged therein, the first worm including a through-hole operatively arranged to allow material to be injected therethrough and into a central hole of expandable intervertebral fusion implant, and a second end including a second worm rotatably arranged therein, a superior component, including a second top surface, a second bottom surface, a third end, and a fourth end, and a first expansion mechanism including a first screw, the first screw including a first bottom end connected to the inferior component and a first top end connected to the superior component, wherein as the first worm is rotated in a first circumferential direction, the first screw rotates in a second circumferential direction and the superior component is displaced relative to the inferior component.
SACROILIAC JOINT STABILIZATION SYSTEM
A sacroiliac joint implant system includes a primary implant configured to be received in a sacroiliac joint of a patient and a secondary implant configured to couple with the primary implant. The primary implant includes a body extending from a proximal end to a distal end and a plurality of threads extending from the body. The secondary implant includes a first anchor configured to anchor within a sacrum of the patient and a second anchor configured to anchor within an ilium of the patient.
Cruciate replacing artificial knee
A knee joint prosthesis is configured to move between an extended position and a flexion position. The knee joint prosthesis includes a femoral component configured to be mounted to a femur, and a tibial component configured to be mounted to a tibia. The tibial component is configured to engage the femoral component to form the knee joint prosthesis. A post is fixedly connected to one of the femoral component and the tibial component and has a helical surface at a terminal end thereof. A recess is defined on the other of the femoral component and the tibial component and has a helical surface. The helical surfaces of the post and recess are configured to engage in order to cause relative rotation between the femoral and tibial components as the knee joint prosthesis moves between the extended and flexion positions.
EXPANDABLE INTERVERTEBRAL IMPLANTS AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION THEREOF
Embodiments herein are generally directed to expandable spinal implants, systems, apparatuses, and components thereof that can be used in spinal fusion and/or stabilization procedures, as well as methods of installation. The expandable spinal implants may be configured for lateral insertion.
