A stent includes a main body having a plurality of rings that form a helix. Each of the plurality of rings includes a plurality of skewed v-shaped elements that each have a first leg and a second leg that is longer than the first leg. The stent further includes a first end ring and a second end ring positioned to an opposite side of the main body from the first end ring. Each of the plurality of rings of the main body is angled with respect to the first end ring and the second end ring. The stent further includes a first transitional region for connecting the first end ring to the main body, and a second transitional region for connecting the second end ring to the main body.

A stent includes a cylindrical main body portion, a linkage portion, and a marker attachment portion. The main body portion extends in an axial direction. The linkage portion extends from an end of the main body portion in the axial direction. The marker attachment portion is linked to the main body portion through the linkage portion. The linkage portion includes a bent portion tilting the marker attachment portion outward in a radial direction of the main body portion.

UNCAGING STENT

A stent (scaffold) or other luminal prosthesis comprising circumferential structural elements which provide high strength after deployment and allows for scaffold to uncage, and/or allow for scaffold or luminal expansion thereafter. The circumferential scaffold is typically formed from non-degradable material and will be modified to expand and/or uncage after deployment.

DRUG-ELUTING STENT FORMED FROM A DEFORMABLE HOLLOW STRUT FOR A CUSTOMIZABLE ELUTION RATE

Methods and apparatus are disclosed for customizing an elution rate of a stent. The stent includes a hollow strut that forms the stent, the hollow strut defining a lumenal space, a drug formulation disposed within the lumenal space of the hollow strut, and at least one side port for eluting the drug formulation in vivo. When the stent is in the radially expanded configuration the hollow strut is deformable from a first configuration that has a first elution rate for the drug formulation to a second configuration that has a second elution rate for the drug formulation. The second elution rate is faster than the first elution rate. The hollow strut deforms from the first configuration to the second configuration upon application of an applied pressure above a predetermined threshold.

STENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING STENT

A stent and a stent manufacturing method results in a stent exhibiting improved fracture resistance. The stent has metal portions that shape a tubular outer periphery provided with a gap and a polymer portion that connects the metal portions to each other in the gap. The polymer portion has a curved portion that is curved to be concave toward the outer side from the inner side in the radial direction of the tubular outer periphery.

Prosthetic heart valves and methods of use of prosthetic heart valves may be provided. In one implementation, a prosthetic heart valve configured to transition between radially compressed and radially expanded configurations may be provided. The prosthetic heart valve may include an outer frame, an inner frame, and at least one tissue anchor extending from at least one of the frames. The prosthetic heart valve may be configured to maintain a first distance between the downstream ends of the inner and outer frames when the prosthetic heart valve is in the radially compressed configuration and a second distance between the downstream ends of the inner and outer frames when the prosthetic heart valve is in the radially expanded configuration, the first distance being greater than the second distance.

DEVICE USEFUL FOR LOCALIZED THERAPEUTIC DELIVERY WITHOUT FLOW OBSTRUCTION

Medical devices and methods are provided. In some aspects, devices useful for applying therapy locally within a body vessel are disclosed, the devices having a stent graft with flared end regions with a catheter providing fluid communication to the outer side of the narrower, intermediate region of the stent graft. Kits and systems including the same devices and methods are also disclosed.

Stent

A stent comprises a plurality of circumferential bands. Circumferential bands which are adjacent one another are connected one to the other. The circumferential bands include peaks and troughs interconnected by bent struts. The bands may overlap or may be connected by connectors.

Polymer scaffolds having a low crossing profile

A medical device includes a polymer scaffold crimped to a catheter having an expansion balloon. The scaffold, after being deployed by the balloon, provides a crush recovery of about 90% after the diameter of the scaffold has been pinched or crushed by 50%. The scaffold also has a reduced crimped profile and a modification of the scaffold's ring structure at the crowns that contributes to the reduced crimped profile.

Vascular Stents and Related Methods

A vascular stent assembly includes at least a first and a second strut, each including a thickness and a depth. The assembly includes a pair of end radii, with each of the first and second struts extending from one of the pair of end radii. A thickness of at least one of the first and second struts includes a tapering profile extending from one of the end radii to another of the end radii, the tapering profile following a continuously increasing or decreasing function through at least half a length of the at least one strut.
