Finger trigger splint for joint immobilization and flexion inhibition
Some embodiments of the present disclosure include a splint for resolving the symptoms of trigger finger/thumb. The splint may include a t-shaped main body, wherein a stem of the Tshape is rigid and includes a support bar configured to at least partially immobilize a user's finger and a top of the T-shape is rigid with a flexible portion configured to wrap around the finger. The splint may further include a securement strap extending from the top of the T-shape, the securement strap configured to engage with the top of the T-shape to secure the top of the Tshape around the finger. In embodiments where the splint is used on a thumb, the splint may further include a thumb securement strap configured to wrap around the user's hand/wrist to secure the splint in place.
Mobilizing Musculoskeletal Structures
An injured musculoskeletal structure is mobilized relative to a juxtaposing support structure surface to isolate the injured musculoskeletal structure from forces transferred from adjoining musculoskeletal structures in order to alleviate pain, discomfort, inflammation, and further injury associated with such transferred forces.
Apparatus and method for treatment of lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow)
Apparatuses and methods are provided for the treatment of lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) via the stretching of an affected user's restricted muscle(s), be it the extensor digitorum communis (EDC), extensor carpi radialis brevis (ECRB), supinator muscle, or any combination thereof. The apparatus can comprise various adjustable straps and rigid members configured to secure the apparatus to the user's arm and hold the user's interphalangeal joints, metacarpal phalangeal joints, and wrist in flexion, the user's forearm in pronation, and the user's elbow in extension. This combination of joint positions can constitute a desired position which, when held for prolonged periods, can cause the elongation of the restricted muscle tissue. This in turn can cause relief of the user's symptoms of lateral epicondylitis.
Mobilizing musculoskeletal structures

FRAGMENT SPECIFIC FRACTURE REDUCTION BRACE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD OF USE
The present invention provides a method for providing and using a fracture reduction brace, comprising: providing one or more rigid splint members configured to be disposed adjacent to or about an anatomical structure; providing one or more reduction members deployable from an interior surface of the one or more rigid splint members into the anatomical structure such that the one or more reduction members apply pressure to the anatomical structure thereby reducing an associated fracture; disposing the one or more rigid split members securely adjacent to or about the anatomical structure; and deploying the one or more reduction members from the interior surface of the one or more rigid splint members into the anatomical structure.
COUPLEABLE SUPPORT SPLINT
An articular support for supporting bones connected to one another by joints, includes at least one support splint, which is structured in at least two segments. The support splint has at least one guide per segment to receive a reinforcing element for longitudinal coupling of the at least two segments and coupling means for transverse coupling of this support splint to at least one additional neighboring support splint.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FIXATION FOR BONE OR SOFT TISSUE DEFORMITY OF DIGITS
A fixation device comprises a first clamping member having an adjustable clamping collar and a first curved support portion attached to the adjustable clamping collar. The first clamping member is adapted to receive a digit. The first curved support portion is adapted to support an inferior surface of a proximal phalanx of the digit. A distal member is adjustably attachable to the first clamping member. The distal member has a second curved support surface adapted to support an inferior surface of a distal phalanx of the digit and a curved distal end adapted to apply a compressive force in a proximal direction to a distal end of the distal phalanx.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO MAINTAIN DISTANCE BETWEEN BONES OF A FINGER FOR PAIN RELIEF
An apparatus includes a first engaging member to engage a first portion of a finger, a second engaging member to engage a second portion of the finger, and a plurality of assemblies connecting the first engaging member and the second engaging member to maintain a distance between bones of a body portion comprising a joint of the finger, wherein the body portion resides between the first and second portions, and wherein each assembly comprises a plurality of rods coupling the first engaging member and the second engaging member, and a coupling tube with a first rod of the plurality of rods secured to a proximal end and a second rod of the plurality of rods secured to a distal end, wherein rotation of the coupling tube adjusts a gap between the first and second rods in the coupling tube to control the distance between the bones of the body portion.
