An elastic sheet stretchable structure in which a first sheet layer and a second sheet layer are bonded through joint holes penetrating an elastic film at a plurality of sheet joined portions arranged at intervals is included. Joined portion groups in the stretchable region are in a relationship of intersecting a stretchable direction line at respective positions in an orthogonal direction or in a relationship of not intersecting the stretchable direction line at a separation width of 0.5 mm or less in the orthogonal direction of the stretchable direction line. The joined portion groups are in a relationship of not intersecting an oblique line at a predetermined separation width in the orthogonal direction in an oblique line group of oblique lines q in the orthogonal direction intersecting the stretchable direction line within an angle range of 45 degrees or less.

Disclosed is a wearable article comprising a main body and a ring-like elastic belt comprising a front belt and a back belt. At least some of the elastic bodies may be arranged in an array, the array defined as meeting: a) one array is formed by 2-10 elastic bodies; b) each elastic body within one array is disposed in an inner-interval between each elastic body of 2-4 mm; and c) one specific array disposed in an extra-interval between at least one neighboring elastic bodies outside the specific array of greater than the inner-interval. Further, the front belt may comprise at least 5 arrays.

Elasticated materials and absorbent articles comprising elasticated materials are disclosed. In an embodiment, an elasticated material can comprise a first web material, a second web material bonded to the first web material, and a plurality of elastomeric strands extending in a lateral direction and disposed between the first and second web materials. The material may comprise a pair of bonds disposed on opposite sides of an elastomeric strand and spaced apart across the elastomeric strand a distance less than an untensioned diameter of the elastomeric strand of the plurality of elastomeric strands. Additionally, the elasticated material may exhibit a first amount of elongation in a direction perpendicular to the lateral direction at a given tension along a first length of the elasticated material and a second amount of elongation in a direction perpendicular to the lateral direction at the given tension along a second length of the elasticated material.

The present disclosure relates to wearable articles having an elastic belt having arrays of elastic bodies.

This disclosure includes embodiments of disposable absorbent articles and methods of making disposable absorbent articles that include closures with a web of material and hook fasteners that are unitary with the web. For example, some of the present disposable absorbent articles include diapers or briefs with closure members, such as back ears or front ears, defined at least in part by a nonwoven web with hook fasteners that are unitary with the nonwoven web. Use of such unitary hook fasteners allows simpler construction of such articles and/or softer closure members for improved fit and user comfort, and/or other benefits. Certain embodiments of the present methods can manufacture such absorbent articles with fewer manufacturing steps or processes and/or fewer raw materials, relative to those required to manufacture prior art absorbent articles with hook fastener patches that are added by application of a separate piece of material that includes the hook fasteners.

An absorbent article which can have longitudinal direction folded side regions. The longitudinal direction folded side regions of the absorbent article can provide the absorbent article with a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the lateral direction width of each of the front waist edge and the back waist edge can be the same. In the second configuration, the lateral direction width of the front waist edge can be smaller than the lateral direction width of the back waist edge.

A disposable pull-on diaper that keeps in close contact with a wearer's crotch region includes a lower torso cover and an absorbent chassis. The absorbent chassis has a front end portion overlapping a front waist region of the lower torso cover and a front end portion of the front end portion is joined to an elastic region in the lower torso cover. A front end adjoining portion of the front end portion is not joined to the elastic region. An area in the absorbent chassis being adjacent the front end adjoining portion on the side of the crotch region is joined to an inelastic region defined on the side closer to the crotch region than to the elastic region. The absorbent body contained in the absorbent chassis extends at least from the crotch region to the front end adjoining portion. The front end portion in the front end portion of the absorbent chassis is defined by a portion of the cover sheet wrapping the absorbent body which extends outward beyond the absorbent body.
