Absorbent article

An absorbent article includes a belt placed around the waist of the wearer and an absorbent pad attached to the belt, wherein the pad includes a chassis having a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core, wherein the absorbent pad is attached to a surface of the belt attaching arrangements provided on each corner of the front portion and the rear portion of the pad, wherein the waist elastic is provided at the waist portion of at least one of the front and rear portion and is movable between a contracted condition in which the topsheet and/or backsheet exhibit(s) pleats and a fully stretched condition in which the pleats of the topsheet and/or backsheet are fully stretched out, wherein the elastic force from said waist elastic is within the range of from 2 N to 7 N when the elastic is in the fully stretched condition.

PANT-TYPE ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed is a pant type absorbent article having a waist guard portion on the front and/or back elastic belt, wherein the waist guard portion has a specific location in view of the location from the distal edge to the proximal edge relative to the percentage of the seam length LS, the waist guard portion comprising a waist guard elastic portion having a longitudinal dimension of no greater than about 40 mm, wherein the remainder of the elastic belt superposing the waist guard elastic portion is defined a correlated portion, wherein the tensile stress of the waist guard elastic portion is higher than that of the correlated portion.

Transversely extensible continuous elastic laminate, and a method for producing the same

A transversely extensible continuous elastic laminates includes a continuous elastic tape sandwiched between two continuous webs, and at least one row of tabs extending transversely outside the two webs, wherein the tabs are made of a non-woven material and have respective micro-hook formations integrally formed in the non-woven material forming the tabs.

Pant-type absorbent article and manufacturing method thereof

A pant type absorbent article includes a back elastic belt comprising a waist guard portion extending towards the crotch region from a closed base line towards an open edge, wherein the waist guard portion is formed by a first inner waist fold extending from a second inner waist fold, the second inner waist fold extending from the inner sheet, and a first elastic member bonded between the first inner waist fold and the second inner waist fold, wherein the waist guard portion is partially bonded to the remainder of the elastic belt from which the first and second inner waist folds extend to define a pocket.

METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR MAKING ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH ELASTOMERIC LAMINATES HAVING BEEN ACCUMULATED AND REFRESHED

The present disclosure relates to methods for manufacturing absorbent articles, and in particular, to methods for making elastomeric laminates that may be accumulated and subsequently refreshed to be used as components of absorbent articles. In some configurations, the elastomeric laminate may be wound onto a roll and may comprise elastic strands bonded in a stretched state with a first substrate, wherein the first substrate on the roll comprises a roll substrate strain value that is greater than zero. During the process of assembling absorbent articles, the elastomeric laminate may be unwound from the roll and first discrete contiguous connections between the strands and the first substrate may then be fractured and disrupted to form second discrete contiguous connections by applying localized tensions to the elastomeric laminate.
