Modular armored lectern

An armored lectern includes a frame, a first armored panel, and a second armored panel. The frame defines a gap, and the armored lectern defines an assembled configuration in which a portion of the first armored panel is positioned within the gap such that a first panel surface of the first armored panel faces a first direction, a first portion of the second armored panel is positioned within the gap such that the first panel surface of the second armored panel faces the first direction, and a second portion of the first panel surface of the second armored panel faces a second panel surface of the first armored panel.

A support base includes a connector hub having a top end, a bottom end spaced apart from the top end, and a chamber wall extending between the top and bottom ends. The chamber wall defines a chamber within the connector hub. An interface may be positioned in the chamber. The interface is dimensioned such that a support gap is formed between the interface and the chamber wall. The support gap may be dimensioned for receiving a wall of a support structure having a hollow interior into which the interface is received.

A support base includes a connector hub having a top end, a bottom end spaced apart from the top end, and a chamber wall extending between the top and bottom ends. The chamber wall defines a chamber within the connector hub. An interface may be positioned in the chamber. The support gap may be dimensioned for receiving a wall of a support structure having a hollow interior into which the interface is received.

A mount that is used to attach electronic devices to a guitar stand is made of a back panel, a clamping mechanism, a support scissor mechanism, and a stand-grasping fastener. The clamping mechanism is a user-actuated clamp that uses a fixed jaw and a movable jaw to hold electronic devices against the back panel. The back panel, which is a rigid plate, is connected to the fixed jaw to further support the clamped electronic device. Additionally, the fixed jaw of the clamping mechanism is mounted onto one end of the rigid support beam. The support scissoring mechanism is an adjustable support assembly that can be locked in a desired orientation. The mount for electronic devices is capable of being attached to various other pieces of musical equipment or stage equipment because a stand-grasping fastener is affixed to a second end of the support scissor mechanism, opposite to the fixed jaw.

A lower end of an elongated vertical support rod is releasably secured to the at least one telescopically adjustable beam. A panel is secured to an upper end of the elongated vertical support rod. The panel is adapted for supporting reading material, such as a book.

Compact Stand A stand (100) for holding media, such as sheet music, is configured to move from a closed configuration to an open configuration. The stand comprises a central body portion (111), a first cover portion (112) and a first leg (120). The first cover portion (112) is moveably attached to the central body portion (111) and is moveable between a first position and a second position. In the first position the first cover portion (112) overlays the central body portion (111) and in the second position the first cover portion (112) forms a substantially continuous rack with the central body portion (111) for holding media. The first leg (120) is attached to the central body portion (111) and the central body portion (111) is shaped to define a cavity and is configured to receive the first leg, such that in the closed configuration the first leg (120) is substantially enclosed within the cavity. A telescopic leg (120) for the stand is also described.
