Embodiments of the invention include an apparatus for positioning an electronic display. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.

The processing circuit is structured to sense a placement of the tactile input device on the smart table. The processing circuit is further structured to determine a necessary user input and determine a location of the tactile input device on the smart table. The processing circuit is further structured to rearrange a user interface of the smart table. The processing circuit is further structured to communicate a necessary input configuration to the tactile input device and used by the tactile input device to generate a tactile user interface having an appropriate layout based on the necessary input configuration.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for tactile user input are described herein. A tactile user input system includes a tactile input device and a smart table. The smart table comprises a network interface and a processing circuit. The processing circuit comprises a processor and a memory. The processing circuit is further structured to determine a necessary user input and determine a location of the tactile input device on the smart table. Table with one or more tap gesture-activated light indicators
A table may include one or more tap gesture-activated light indicators that appear on a top surface of the table. The one or more light indicators may indicate a location of one or more wireless charging areas on the top surface of the table. The one or more light indicators may also indicate a location of one or more control elements (e.g., for controlling a height of the table). In a height-adjustable version of the table, each of the height-adjustable legs may include a linear actuator and a telescopic enclosure with a plurality of bulbous members. Additionally, a pressure sensitive surface of the table may measure a pressure pattern generated by a body part of the user resting on the pressure sensitive surface, and a machine learning algorithm infer a posture of the user based on the pressure pattern, and suggest a corrective measure in response to poor posture.
