Nanoparticles for cancer therapy and diagnosis
The present invention relates generally to methods and materials for use in photothermal or sonodynamic therapy. The invention novel nanoparticles for use in delivering sensitizers to solid tumour target, wherein the nanoparticles are composed of a polymers or co-polymer of monomers linked by peptide bonds, wherein the polymer or co-polymer comprises one or both of glutamate or derivatised glutatamic acid, and optionally a further, different, monomer which is a naturally occurring amino acid or synthetic monomer having a side chain group, wherein the polymer or co-polymer is not composed only of glutamate. The pendant groups and/or side chains of the polymer or co-polymer interact non-covalently with the sensitizer.
DENDRIMER COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR DRUG DELIVERY TO THE EYE
Dendrimer compositions and methods for the treatment of one or more inflammatory and/or angiogenic diseases and/or disorders of the eye include hydroxyl-terminated dendrimers complexed or conjugated with one or more active agents for the treatment or alleviation of one or more symptoms of the diseases of the eye, and/or for diagnosing the diseases and/or disorders of the eye. The dendrimers may include one or more ethylene diamine-core poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) hydroxyl-terminated generation-4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 dendrimers. The active agents may be VEGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors including sunitinib or analogues thereof. Preferably, the compositions are suitable for administration via a systemic route to target activated microglia/macrophages in retina/choroid.

Provided herein is a pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of cypate-Cyclo(Cys-Gly-Arg-Asp-Ser-Pro-Cys)-Lys-OH (LS301), cypate-Cyclo(Cys-Gly-Arg-Asp-Ser-Pro-Cys)-Tyr-OH (LS838) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein each amino acid residue is independently in a D or L configuration; a divalent metal ion; and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Further provided are lyophilized products comprising a dye-conjugate and m methods for identifying compromised and for binding phosphorylated annexin A2 (pANXA2) protein in a biological sample using a composition described herein.
TARGETED CONTRAST AGENTS FOR MRI OF AMYLOID DEPOSITION
A liposomal composition (“ADx-001”) is provided, ADx-001 comprising a first phospholipid; a sterically bulky excipient that is capable of stabilizing the liposomal composition; a second phospholipid that is derivatized with a first polymer; a macrocyclic gadolinium-based imaging agent; and a third phospholipid that is derivatized with a second polymer, the second polymer being conjugated to a targeting ligand. The macrocyclic gadolinium-based imaging agent may be conjugated to a fourth phospholipid.
Compositions for circulatory system visualization
This invention describes compositions comprising indocyanine green and poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone) and methods of making the same as well as applications thereof for diagnostic and therapeutic uses. One of those applications is the structural and functional assessment of the lymphatic system by fluorescence imaging.
Compositions of Near IR Closed Chain, Sulfo-Cyanine Dyes and Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen Ligands
Compositions and methods for visualizing tissue under illumination with fusion compounds of near-infrared radiation using near IR, closed chain, sulfo-cyanine dyes and prostate specific membrane antigen ligands are provided.
DYE AGGREGATES-CONTAINING NANOPARTICLES AND USES THEREOF
The present invention provides compositions relating to nanoparticles, such as nanocapsules, that selectively target cells associated with diseases or disorders (e.g., cancer cells). The present invention further relates to methods relating to the said nanoparticles for imaging, detection, and treatment of diseases or disorders in a subject. The present invention additionally provides kits that find use in the practice of the methods of the invention.
GOGGLE IMAGING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A goggle system is provided. The goggle system includes a computing device, a goggle device configured to be worn by a user and including a detector configured to simultaneously acquire image data of a subject in a first image mode and a second image mode, at least one eye assembly configured to display at least one of an image in the first image mode, an image in the second image mode, and a hybrid image including pixels of image data from the first image mode and pixels of image data from the second image mode, and a communications module configured to transmit acquired image data from the goggle device to the computing device.
ACTIVITY-BASED PROBE COMPOUNDS, COMPOSITIONS, AND METHODS OF USE
Activity-based probe compounds for use in labeling a cysteine protease are provided. The compounds are targeted to the protease through a specific targeting element. The compounds additionally include a detectable element, such as a fluorescent label, a radiolabel, or a chelator. In some cases, the compounds additionally include a quenching element that is released upon reaction with the protease. Also provided are compositions comprising the compounds and methods for using the compounds, for example in labeling a protease in an animal and in visualizing a tumor in an animal.
Nanoparticles for diagnosis and treatment of tumors
Disclosed herein are nanoparticles for diagnosis or treatment of tumors. The nanoparticles include: (a) a core including a Prussian blue dye; and (b) a shell obtained by partially or completely coating a surface of the Prussian blue core with albumin, thereby diagnosing a tumor by a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and a near-infrared fluorescence imaging apparatus and necrotizing a tumor by a combined photothermal-photodynamic effect.
