Wrist and forearm support device
A support device adapted for improving the ergonomic support for the arm and wrist and forearm of a user of computer-related input devices is provided. The support device may include a body interconnecting a base to two spaced apart wing supports oriented at latitudinal and longitudinal support angles relative to the supporting surface on which the devices slides. Each wing provides waterfall edges along its periphery. The void between the wing supports, the supine triangular shape, and the waterfall edges facilitates a more neutral position of the forearm and wrist supporting between the two wing supports, reducing pressure points there along, and avoiding direct pressure to the carpal tunnel canal and mid-forearm regions that house anatomical structures that may be impacted by high pressures. The latitudinal support angle can be adjusted.
Support assembly for vertically disposed objects, such as televisions and video monitors
A support assembly includes a stand having an underside surface configured to be placed on top of a flat screen device and an upper surface configured to support at least one object; a mount secured to the underside surface of the stand, the mount presenting a first ratchet ring; an arm presenting a second ratchet ring; and a fastener positioned and arranged to mechanically connect the arm to the mount, causing the first ratchet ring to engage the second ratchet ring, setting the arm at a desired angle so that the arm engages the flat screen device while the stand extends at least substantially horizontally from the top of the flat screen device.
COMBINED MONITOR STAND AND DESK ORGANIZER
A desktop organizer and monitor stand that enables a user-ergonomic arrangement of wired electrical components in a radial/starburst configuration above a desk to reduce electro-magnetic interference (EMI) as well as to increase the ability to position a large number of such devices on and around the surface of a desk.
Wall work station
A work station comprises a mounting bracket adapted to be mounted to a surface. An upper arm and a lower arm are mounted to the mounting bracket for pivoting motion about a first vertical axis. A track is pivoted to the upper arm and the lower arm about a second vertical axis where the track supports a vertically displaceable carriage. The carriage may support a monitor and work platform where the work platform supports a key board tray. A lift system supports the carriage for vertical movement. Work station mounting systems are also provided for movably supporting a work platform.
Height Adjustable Desk
A height-adjustable desk has a base, having a support, a middle portion of a rear side of the support having a column disposed thereon and being upright, a front side of the column having a plurality of slots, the slots being spaced along the column. The desk has a shelf, having a frame, an upper desk top and a lower desk top, the frame disposed on and moveably surrounding the column, the frame having an insert corresponding to the slots, the insert configured to be inserted into one of the slots, the upper desk top located at the frame, the lower desk top located at the frame lower than the upper desk top.
Dual surface, reversible ergonomic accessory for computer peripherals
An ergonomic computer accessory for use with hand operated computer peripherals, such as computer mice, touchpads or trackpads, comprising a base and two hinged, multi-angle, reversible, opposing surfaces, one for a working surface and the other for wrist support. During operation, the working surface is positioned so the user's hand is at a more natural angle to provide ergonomic benefits such as reducing muscular and skeletal strain on the user's hand and wrist. The opposing adjustable wrist support surface is oriented such that the user's wrist rests at an ergonomic angle without compressing the carpal tunnel on the flat surface of the wrist. Both the working surface and wrist support surface may be reversed to be oriented for either left and/or right handed users by flipping the base, wrist and working surfaces over to their appropriate positions. The base, wrist and support surfaces may be adjusted to lie flat for transporting the accessory.
Table apparatuses
A table apparatus includes first, second, and third work surfaces. The second work surface is pivotable with respect to the first work surface at a first pivot axis, and the third work surface is pivotable with respect to the first work surface at a second pivot axis that is parallel to and spaced apart from the first pivot axis. The table apparatus can include a controller configured to control a lighting device positioned between the first work surface and the second work surface and/or third work surface.
Configurable workstation
A configurable workstation for communication equipment has a primary support assembly and may have one or more secondary support assemblies behind the primary support assembly to define separate zones that are automatically adjustable in elevation by a motor drive system independently of one another and in synchronization with each other. The primary support assembly may have a work deck, an equipment rack, or a conference table. Each secondary support assembly has an equipment rack. The zones are separated by gap regions permitting recessed positioning of equipment and heat dissipation from a base of the workstation in which computer equipment may be stored. The configurable workstation allows operators to see and be seen, and facilitates ergonomically beneficial positioning of equipment.
Ergonomic watchmaker's workstation
An ergonomic watchmaker's workstation includes, around a work platform, two forearm supports each at least tiltably adjustable in a vertical plane, and control and storage unit arranged to control motorized adjuster in order to move each of the forearm supports in at least one degree of freedom. The control and storage unit are programmable to trigger, at predefined or random moments, micro movements of the forearm supports of short duration, less than two seconds, and of small angular amplitude, less than 2 and/or of linear amplitude, less than 5 mm. The workstation further includes a user interface connected to the control and storage unit, to trigger other micro movements, and/or to modify the settings.
