Corn harvester

A harvester includes a main frame, first side frame, and a second side frame. The first and second side frames are rotatable about the main frame between a deployed position and a stowed position. A first crop divider is rotatable with respect to the first side frame to change an angle between the first crop divider and the ground. A first biasing member biases the first crop divider into the raised position. A second crop divider is rotatable with respect to the second side frame to change an angle between the second crop divider and the ground. A second biasing member biases the second crop divider into the raised position. During movement of the first and second side frames into the stowed position, the first and second crop dividers are moved into the lowered position against the biasing force of the respective biasing member.

MONITOR AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A HARVESTER

A harvester including a frame supported by a drive assembly for movement along a support surface, a head unit coupled to the harvester and configured to selectively harvest crop material, a camera coupled to the frame and configured to generate one or more images of a field of view, and a controller in operable communication with the camera and the head unit, where the controller is configured to determine one or more crop attributes based at least in part on the one or more images produced by the camera.

A vertical crop divider knife is mounted at each end of the cutter bar of a header and stands upwardly from the end to cut crop tending to collect over the end divider. Each divider knife includes a drive linkage in the housing for communicating drive to the knife sickle bar. Each divider housing has a mounting assembly for coupling to a cooperating mounting assembly on the housing of the crop divider knife structure by which the crop divider knife structure is readily attachable to the crop divider housing using a hook coupling at the bottom and a latch at the top for operation and releasable from the crop divider housing when not required. The divider housing carries a hydraulic motor and a forwardly facing output coupling mounted on the divider housing which automatically meshes with an input coupling on the knife housing when the knife drive housing is installed.

CROP FLOW ASSISTANCE FOR HARVESTING HEADER

A harvesting header is disclosed that comprises a support frame and a crop moving apparatus supported on the support frame and operable for moving cut crop material to a transfer region. The header also has a cavity located proximate and lower than an output end of the crop moving apparatus. The header has a crop flow assistance device having a plurality of transversely spaced elements that extend generally longitudinally at least partially above the cavity, and which are operable to assist cut crop material in being transferred from the output end of the moving apparatus to flow over the cavity. The cavity may be operable to receive rocks and/or debris carried by the conveyor to the transfer region. The header may include a rock trap located in the transfer region the cavity being part of the rock trap and may be operable to receive rocks and/or debris carried by the conveyor to the transfer region.
