INJECTION DEVICE WITH DOSE INDICATOR MECHANISM
An injection device comprises a housing (12) having a longitudinal axis. The injection device further comprises a dose selector (16) capable of setting a dose to be ejected from the injection device and a dose indicator comprising a units wheel (18) operatively connectable to the dose selector so that rotation of the dose selector about the longitudinal axis also rotates the units wheel, and a tens wheel (19) selectively engageable with the units wheel so that rotation of the units wheel also rotates the tens wheel. A biasing means biases the dose indicator axially-rearwardly in the housing. An internal surface of the housing is provided with a tens housing feature selectively engageable with the tens wheel to prevent rotation thereof. An internal surface of the housing is provided with a units housing feature capable of moving the units wheel axially-forward against said biasing means such that the units wheel engages and moves the tens wheel axially-forward and free of said tens housing feature so as to allow rotation thereof.
Drug delivery device with a hydraulic trigger mechanism
A device for administering a fluid medicament by injection comprises a dosing portion (1) with a collapsible reservoir (10). The reservoir (10) has a maximum volume in an extended state and a minimum volume in a collapsed state. Prior to injection, the reservoir (10) is in the extended state and contains a liquid to be administered, and the reservoir (10) is biased towards the collapsed state. The device further comprises a needle (2), wherein a lumen (20) of the needle (2) is in fluid communication with the reservoir (10). The device further comprises a shield portion (3) with a plug (30). Prior to injection, the shield portion (3) is in a deployed position where the plug (30) blocks the lumen (20) of the needle (2). The shield portion (3) is adapted to move in response to an actuation force from the deployed position to a retracted position where the lumen (20) of the needle (2) is open, thereby causing the reservoir (10) to shift to the collapsed state to expel the liquid through the needle.
INJECTION DEVICE COMPRISING AN IMPROVED DELIVERY ELEMENT
An injection device having a delivery element with an inner thread may be driven by rotation and includes a cylindrical outer wall region, which is substantially smooth. Such features provide a delivery element configured such that it is less intimidating to patients than known threaded rods, and may facilitate easy cleaning. The delivery element may be non-rotatably guided and axially spring-loaded, and may be inserted axially into the housing when the reservoir is replaced. The driving thread element for the delivery element may be mounted in the vicinity of the distal end of the housing.
INJECTION UNIT FOR ADMINISTERING OR DELIVERING A FLUID PRODUCT
The invention relates to an injection unit, preferably a pen-shaped injection unit, for administering or delivering a fluid product. The injection unit comprises a housing, an axially movable piston rod mounted in the housing in a non-rotatable manner, a delivery apparatus having a threaded nut that is able to move the piston rod in order to deliver product, a dosing device having a dosing sleeve, a rotary knob, a discharge button arranged coaxially on the dosing sleeve, and a receptacle for the product. The dosing device is connected to the delivery apparatus via a coupling mechanism, wherein the coupling mechanism includes of at least two coupling surfaces that each carry a toothing comprising teeth, wherein the coupling surfaces are used to generate an acoustic and/or tactile signal corresponding to the set or corrected dose of the product to be administered during the dosing operation or during correction of the dose.

Dose setting device for an injection device
A dosing device for an injection device, the dosing device including an actuating element for adjusting and/or dispensing a dose from the injection device, a thrust element for generating a forward movement for discharging a dose and a coupling to which the actuating element and the thrust element are coupled such that a rotational movement of the actuating element is transmitted directly to the thrust element and an axial movement of the actuating element is different than an axial movement of the thrust element.
Drug injection device with resettable mechanism allowing piston rod retraction upon drug cartridge change
A drug delivery device for selecting and dispensing a number of user variable doses of a medicament. The device comprises a housing, a dose setting element rotatable relative to the housing during dose setting and dose dispensing, a drive member coupled to the dose setting member via a clutch, and a piston rod coupled to the housing and to the drive member. Further, the device further comprises a cartridge holder removably attached to the housing and a reset element, which is axially constrained to the dose setting element, and at least one spring acting on the reset element, such that, if the cartridge holder is detached from the housing, the reset element is axially moved relative to the housing onto a position in which the dose setting element is rotationally constrained to the housing and the drive member is allowed to rotate relative to the housing.
THERAPEUTIC AGENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A system for storing and delivering a predetermined amount of fluid includes a syringe including a barrel, a flange disposed at the proximal end of the barrel, and a plunger assembly configured to be received in the lumen of the barrel. The plunger assembly includes a piston and a plunger rod. The plunger rod is removably couplable to the piston at the distal end of the plunger rod and includes a thumb press flange at the proximal end of the plunger rod. The system further includes a stop feature that is removably couplable to the syringe or the plunger assembly. The stop feature is configured to arrest distal advancement of the plunger assembly relative to the syringe when the plunger assembly reaches a predetermined position relative to the syringe. The stop thus ensures that a predetermined amount of fluid remains in the barrel.
Assembly for a drug delivery device
An assembly for a drug delivery device is provided, wherein the assembly comprises an actuator which is configured to perform a setting movement in order to set a dose and which is configured to perform a dispense movement in order to dispense a dose and a piston rod which is configured to be moved in a distal direction in order to dispense a dose, and a snap feature which is configured to snap into engagement with the piston rod. The snap feature may be configured to inhibit a dispense movement of the actuator and/or a setting movement of the actuator when a maximum amount of medication has been delivered.
Drive mechanism of a drug delivery device
A drive mechanism of a drug delivery device for dispensing of a dose of a medicament includes a housing extending in an axial direction, and a piston rod to operably engage with a piston of a cartridge to displace the piston in an axial distal direction. The drive mechanism further includes a last dose sleeve rotatably supported in the housing and being selectively engageable with a dose setting mechanism for setting of a dose, and a last dose member threadedly engaged to the housing, rotatably locked to the last dose sleeve and axially displaceable relative to the last dose sleeve.
