A Stop Mechanism For A Hypocycloid End-Of-Content Mechanism In An Injection Device
The invention relates to a stop mechanism for a non-axial working End-of-Content mechanism which is geared by a hypocycloid gearing. The EoC mechanism comprises a stationary first element (10), an EoC element (30) and a rotational element (50) with a cam surface. The EoC element rotates around a center axis which is dislocated in relation to the center axis of the first element. The EoC element thus works as a hypocycloid element which rotates through a specific angle whenever a rotational element driven by a dose setting button is rotated one full revolution. The EoC element thus counts the number of set doses.
Injection device for delivering a fixed dose of liquid drug
An injection device for delivering a predetermined fixed dose of liquid drug, comprising a base member, a piston rod a first tubular member, and a second tubular member.
Pen-Type Injector
The present invention relates to injectors, such as pen-type injectors, that provide for administration of medicinal products from a multidose cartridge and permit a user to set the delivery dose. The injector may include a housing, a cartridge containing medicinal product, the cartridge being retained within the housing, means for selecting a dose of medicinal product to be expelled, and means for expelling the selected dose of medicinal product. The housing may be a unitary housing within which the means for selecting a dose and the means for expelling the selected dose are moveably retained. Alternatively, the injector may include a housing, a piston rod, an insert located in the housing and through which the piston may rotate, ratchet means, a dose dial sleeve, a drive sleeve, a button located on the drive sleeve and rotatable with respect to the drive sleeve, and clutch means which upon depression of the button prevents rotation between the dose dial sleeve and the drive sleeve.
Medication delivery device
A medication delivery device and/or dosing mechanisms suitable for use in medication delivery devices, in particular in pen-type injectors, preferably having a dose setting system and a drive device enabling the administration of a medicinal product from a single- or multi-dose medication cartridge.
Method of injecting octreotide acetate into the body
A method of providing and/or injecting octreotide acetate to a subject in need thereof includes storing the octreotide acetate in a cartridge of a multi-use multi-dose injector provided with a variable dose setter and actuator. The injector includes a needle configured for subcutaneous administration of the octreotide acetate, the octreotide acetate having a concentration of 2,500 μg/mL. The method further includes providing, on the injector, a plurality of indicia only at prescribed doses of 50 μg, 100 μg, 150 μg and 200 μg settable via the dose setter without indicia between said prescribed doses; and permitting setting of a dose of the octreotide acetate by rotation of the variable dose setter, wherein the injector is configured to provide at least one audible feedback during the rotation.
Selectable dose injection device
A substance delivery device for delivering a substance from a container includes a body, and a plunger movable with respect to the body so as to expel at least a portion of a substance from the container, a trigger mechanism, a latch member latched in a stationary position at least along the longitudinal axis of the device before use, and a lockout shroud movable along the longitudinal axis relative to the latch mechanism. User manipulation of the trigger mechanism causes the latch mechanism to become unlatched and move along the longitudinal axis and to cause movement of a plunger relative to the body, and in a first position of the lockout shroud along the longitudinal axis relative to the latch member, the lockout shroud prevents the trigger mechanism from unlatching the latch member, whereas in a second position the lockout shroud allows the trigger mechanism to unlatch the latch member.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery device. The drug delivery device comprises a drug container containing a drug liquid, wherein the drug liquid includes insulin glargine dissolved therein, and a hollow needle defining an elongated interior space through which the drug liquid is dispensable from the drug container, wherein the needle is at least partially made of a steel resistant to chloride, wherein the elongated interior space is in fluid communication with the drug container in a storage or pre-delivery condition, for example within a timeframe of at least 1 hour in absence of significant exchange of drug liquid inside the interior space.
Medicament Injection Device
The present disclosure relates to medicament injection devices. An injection device includes: a movable dosage programming component comprising a rotary encoder system having a predefined angular periodicity, a sensor arrangement including a first optical sensor configured to detect movement of the movable dosage programming component relative to the sensor arrangement during dosing of a medicament, wherein the first optical sensor is configured to operate in a strobe-sampling mode at a first frequency, a second optical sensor configured to detect movement of the rotary encoder system relative to the second optical sensor wherein the second optical sensor is configured to operate in a strobe-sampling mode at a second frequency lower than the first frequency, and a processor arrangement configured to, based on the detected movement, determine a medicament dosage administered by the injection device.
Drive mechanisms suitable for use in drug delivery devices
The present disclosure is directed to a dose setting mechanism that may be used with a drug delivery device. The dose setting mechanism may include an inner body having a helical thread along an outer cylindrical surface of the inner body, and a drive sleeve for driving a piston rod in an axial direction, the drive sleeve positioned within at least a portion of the inner body. The dose setting mechanism may further include a dose dial sleeve rotatably engaged with the helical thread of the inner body and a dial grip connected to the dose dial sleeve and releasably connected to the drive sleeve. Further when a dose is set, the dial grip is rotated so that both the dose dial sleeve and the drive sleeve rotate with respect to the inner body.
SYRINGE WITH INJECTION DOSE ADJUSTMENT FUNCTION
A syringe with an injection dose adjustment function, comprising a medicine vial connecting apparatus and an adjustable propulsion apparatus; by means of assembling the medicine vial connecting apparatus and a medicine vial, and then installing the adjustable propulsion apparatus in the medicine vial connecting apparatus and extending same into the medicine vial, a rotating knob of the medicine vial connecting apparatus can drive a push rod of the adjustable propulsion apparatus to move backward to a predetermined scale; at the time of injection, pressing the push rod enables the medicine vial to output a predetermined dosage of medicinal liquid, such that the syringe can adjust the injection dosage according to the requirements of different injection subjects.
