Actuating member (116, 206, 306, 406, 510, 608) is to move plunger (104, 204, 304, 404, 508, 606). Biasing member (110, 210, 310, 410, 506) biases upon plunger movement in first direction and applies restoring force on plunger (104, 204, 304, 404, 508, 606) towards second direction. Movement control mechanism (118, 120, 218, 314, 418, 516, 618) includes pin-receiving members (118B, 120B, 218B, 314B, 418B, 516B, 618B) and pin (118A, 120A, 218A, 314A, 418A, 516A, 618A) to provide variable limit for plunger movement.

INJECTION DEVICE WITH FLEXIBLE DOSE SELECTION
20230302228 · 2023-09-28 ·

An injection device incorporating a dose setting mechanism is presented where the dose setting mechanism contains a dose selector having one or more dose stops corresponding to a finite set of predetermined fixed doses, where the set of finite predetermined fixed doses includes a lowest fixed dose and one or more higher fixed doses, and where at least one of the one or more higher fixed doses is equal to the lowest fixed dose plus a fractional amount of the lowest fixed dose. The dose setting mechanism can further include a floating spline that is rotationally engaged with a snap element such that the snap element can rotate relative to the floating spline during both dose setting and dose delivery.

PRECISION DOSE DELIVERY DEVICE PLUNGER ROD INSERTION GAUGE AND METHODS THEREFOR

A plunger rod insertion gauge for a precision dose delivery device is disclosed. The insertion gauge includes: an insertion gauge body including a handle portion and a gauge portion; wherein the gauge portion includes one or more plunger rod abutting surfaces and one or more flange abutting surfaces oriented substantially perpendicular to a plunger rod insertion axis; and wherein a dimension measured between the one or more plunger rod abutting surfaces and the one or more flange abutting surfaces defines a maximum plunger rod insertion depth for the precision dose delivery device. Other aspects are described and claimed.

Injection device

An injection device includes an elongated housing extending along a longitudinal axis, a piston rod to operably engage with a piston of a cartridge filled with the medicament, a dose tracker selectively operably engageable with the piston rod, wherein the dose tracker is longitudinally displaceable relative to the housing from an initial position in a proximal direction towards at least a first activation position for setting of the dose and wherein the dose tracker is longitudinally displaceable relative to the housing in a distal direction from the at least first activation position towards the initial position for dispensing of the dose, a spring to urge the dose tracker in the proximal direction relative to the housing, an interlock to lock the dose tracker in the initial position relative to the housing, and a release member to release the interlock.
