Differential gear mechanism for a drug delivery device and drug delivery device
The disclosure is directed to a differential gear mechanism for a drug delivery device with a primary drug delivery assembly and a secondary drug delivery assembly, wherein the primary drug delivery assembly comprises a primary dose dial sleeve and wherein the secondary drug delivery assembly comprises a secondary drive sleeve. The disclosure is also directed to a respective drug delivery device.
Medication delivery device with gear set dosage system
A medication delivery device is disclosed including a rack-and-pinion plunger drive system. The drive system includes an output drive having a pawled end movably coupled with the ratchet teeth of the plunger, and a pinion drive coupled between the housing, the output drive and an actuator. Actuator is longitudinally movable between dose set and delivery positions. Movement of the actuator causes rotation of the pinion drive along the rack to translate the output drive member with the pawled end that is engaged with the plunger ratchet teeth to distally advance the plunger. The device may include one or more of an end of dose mechanism to limit travel of the actuator, a load brake system to stop travel of the plunger under high input forces, a dose detection system, and a dose selector to vary the amount of dose set.
Dose setting device for an injection device
A dosing device for an injection device, the dosing device including an actuating element for adjusting and/or dispensing a dose from the injection device, a thrust element for generating a forward movement for discharging a dose and a coupling to which the actuating element and the thrust element are coupled such that a rotational movement of the actuating element is transmitted directly to the thrust element and an axial movement of the actuating element is different than an axial movement of the thrust element.
Dose setting mechanism and medicament delivery device comprising the dose setting mechanism
A dose setting mechanism for a medicament delivery device is presented having a tubular member, a dose drum, coaxial with the tubular member, and being axially and rotationally movable relative to the tubular member, a stop member, coaxial with the tubular member, and axially movable but rotationally locked relative to the tubular member, and further being axially jointly movable with the dose drum, wherein the stop member has a first stop element and in that the dose drum has a second stop element, and wherein the first stop element and the second stop element are configured to interact with each other to limit rotation of the dose drum to a predetermined angular interval.
DRIVE MECHANISM FOR AN INJECTION DEVICE
A drive mechanism for an injection device includes an inner body fixable inside a housing. An elongated shaft of the inner body extends in an axial direction. The shaft includes an outer thread and a blocking structure on an outer circumference. A tubular-shaped display member has an inner thread engaged with the outer thread of the inner body (20). A dose member is axially displaceable between a dose setting position and a dose dispensing position relative to the display member. The dose member includes at least one blocking element displaceable, pivotable or bendable in radial direction between a blocking position and a release position and engageable with the blocking structure for inducing a radial displacement of the blocking element. In the blocking position, the blocking element axially abuts with the blocking structure and with the display member to block an axial displacement of the dose member from the dose setting position towards the dose dispensing position.
Drive mechanism for an injection device
The present disclosure relates to a drive mechanism for an injection device for setting and dispensing of a dose of a medicament, the drive mechanism comprising: an inner body fixable inside a housing of the injection device, the inner body comprising an elongated shaft extending in an axial direction (z) and having an outer thread, a tubular-shaped display member having an inner thread engaged with the outer thread of the inner body, and a dose member axially displaceable between a dose setting position (S) and a dose dispensing position (D) relative to the display member, wherein the display member comprises at least one blocking member movable in axial direction (z) between a blocking position (B) and a release position (R) and engageable with a blocking structure on the outer circumference of the inner body, wherein when in blocking position (B) the blocking member axially engages with the dose member and with the blocking structure to block an axial displacement of the dose member from the dose setting position (S) towards the dose dispensing position (D).
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE FOR LIQUID PHARMACEUTICALS
The present invention proposes a liquid pharmaceuticals delivery device (18) comprising a mainly cylindrical main body (1), a cartridge (3) having a mainly cylindrical inner cavity with a volumetric capacity for accommodating multiple doses of a liquid pharmaceutical, the cartridge (3) comprising a first end for receiving a plunger (7) and a second end for liquid pharmaceutical extraction. The device (18) further comprises a jackscrew (55) a comprising a threaded lower jackscrew (5) and a threaded upper jackscrew (6) integrated or fixed to each other. The jackscrew (55) being rotatable around a primary axis of the main body (1) and stationary along said primary axis, a threaded plunger rod (8) which is integrated to the plunger (7) and which has a thread diameter (Dp) corresponding to thread diameter of the lower jackscrew (5). A button (12) is engageable with the spindle (10), by one thereof having a recess and the other having a protrusion matching said recess along a direction parallel to the primary axis of the spindle (10). The threaded mainly cylindrical spindle (10) has a thread diameter (Ds) corresponding to thread diameter of the upper jackscrew (6). The thread diameter (Ds) of the spindle (10) is greater than the thread diameter (Dp) of the plunger rod (8).
Medication delivery device
A medication delivery device and/or dosing mechanisms suitable for use in medication delivery devices, in particular in pen-type injectors, preferably having a dose setting system and a drive device enabling the administration of a medicinal product from a single- or multi-dose medication cartridge.
Injection device for soft-tissue augmentation fillers, bioactive agents and other biocompatible materials in liquid or gel form
Described herein are injection devices capable of automatically injecting substances into the soft tissue of a patient. The devices can inject low to high viscosity materials at predetermined, user selected injection rates, allowing the operator more control than a traditional syringe. The devices can allow mixing of more than one substance and/or reconstitution of a solid substance for injection. The injection devices described herein can allow the operator to easily inject one or more low to high viscosity liquid or gel soft-tissue augmentation fillers, one or more drugs, one or more other biocompatible materials, or combinations thereof.
