LOW-PROFILE MULTI-AGENT INJECTION SYSTEM AND METHODS
Low-profile fluid injection systems and methods for injecting fluid into a tumor within a body comprising an elongate member, a plurality of fluid delivery members, and a plurality of fluid reservoirs. Each of the plurality of fluid reservoirs may be fluidly coupled to a single of fluid delivery lumen of a single fluid delivery member such that each of the fluid delivery members is fluidly independent of every other fluid delivery member. The plurality of fluid delivery members may be configured to extend out of a distal end of the elongate member into the tumor when the system is positioned in the body of a patient. A fluid delivery mechanism may be operably coupled to the plurality of fluid reservoirs in order to deliver fluids from the plurality of fluid reservoirs to the plurality of fluid delivery members and inject the fluids into the tumor.
AGENT DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A medical device that includes a handle for conveying an agent having particles and a receiver having a first lumen defined by a first end and a second end. The receiver having an axis extending between the first end and the second end. The first end configured to receive the particles from the handle, and the second end in fluid communication with a second lumen having a cross-sectional dimension smaller than a cross-sectional dimension of the first lumen. Each of the cross-sectional dimensions of the first lumen and the second lumen is measured transverse to the axis. The second end is configured to receive the particles from the first end of the receiver. The second lumen is configured to control delivery of the agent to a delivery conduit in fluid communication with the second lumen based on sizes of the particles.
NEEDLE-FREE INJECTION SYSTEM
A needle-free injection system may include an active substance cartridge, which may have a nozzle and a plunger-actuated dosing chamber for the pressurized dispensing of an active substance. The injection device may have a housing with a receptacle for accommodating the active substance cartridge and a piston, which may be movable relative to the housing and may be designed to execute a movement for the ejection of the active substance from the active substance cartridge, where a mechanism for driving the plunger may be provided, and the plunger may have a starting position related to the mechanism, from which position the piston may be released to move by means of a trigger. The mechanism may be designed to allow the piston to return to the starting position. The dispensing quantity of the active substance may be adjustable.
AUTOMATIC INJECTION SYSTEM
An automatic injection device is provided, where the device includes a syringe carrier and a retraction assembly. The syringe carrier includes two identical parts that are discrete from one another and interlock with one another. The retraction assembly includes a shuttle and a follower, the follower having a moveable latch. The follower has a coupled configuration in which the latch is biasedly coupled to the shuttle, and a decoupled configuration in which the latch is in sliding engagement with a curvilinear surface of the shuttle.
VERSATILE SYRINGE PLATFORM
Apparatus and methods for medicament delivery. The apparatus may include, and the methods may involve, a delivery device for delivering a target amount of the medicament from a distal end of the device. The device may include a rod for moving a plunger that discharges the medicament from the distal end. The device may avoid or reduce deformation of the plunger during the discharge. The plunger motion may be stopped by detent that interacts with the rod. The apparatus and the methods may provide an operator indication of progress of stages of operation. The device may feature triggers corresponding to stages of medicament displacement from the device, such as pre-delivery stages, including priming.
AN EXTRUSION DEVICE AND COMPOSITE DELIVERY SYSTEM
A new type of syringe for delivering composite material for direct application of the material in the mouth of a patient. The new type of syringe includes a threaded screw for driving a piston through the syringe in order to extrude the material from the end of the syringe. The extrusion force is thus generated in the syringe, thereby allowing for a simpler, less costly motorised driving system using a torque driving movement. The syringe also includes a localised heating arrangement at the extrusion end.
AUTOINJECTOR WITH A NEEDLE COVER
The invention relates to an autoinjector 59 for administering a fluid medicament to a subject comprising: a housing 1 for receiving a cartridge holder; a driver assembly 8; the driver assembly on actuation may move the cartridge 3 forward in the cartridge holder 2; a needle cover 4 may be coupled to the housing wherein the needle cover 4 travels in a linear or translational movement; said needle cover 4 is adapted to protect a needle when the needle cover may be in first locking position 17 and second locking position 18; the linear or translational movement may be achieved by a cam profile 13 and a cam follower 14; the cam profile 13 may be provided on outside surface of housing and the cam follower 14 located between the needle cover 4 and the housing 1; a first biasing member 15; and a second biasing member 16 configured to bias the cartridge 3 and the needle cover 4 respectively; and a safety cap 11 to control the actuation of the autoinjector. The needle cover 4 further comprises a sleeve 91 or sleeve 92 which prevents or inhibits the obstruction of the movement of needle cover 4 when the user accidentally hold the needle cover 4 during actuation of the autoinjector.
DUAL CHAMBER SYRINGE AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A dual chamber syringe, comprising a syringe barrel having a forward end, a rearward end and at least one bypass protrusion arranged along the longitudinal extent of the syringe barrel; a finger grip element coupled to the rearward end of the syringe barrel, the finger grip comprises at least one protrusion extending radially inwardly from an inner surface thereof; a plunger rod operatively coupled with the finger grip element; a guiding track is formed on the plunger rod and comprises a helical track portion and a longitudinal track portion; and wherein upon relative displacement of the plunger rod and said finger grip element, the at least one protrusion is guided along the guiding track.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A drug delivery device may include a housing having an opening and a drug storage container including a delivery member having an insertion end configured to extend at least partially through the opening during a delivery state. The device may also include a guard moveably positioned adjacent to the opening and a plunger having a generally cylindrical body portion extending along a longitudinal axis of the container and at least one flange extending radially outwardly from the body portion, wherein the plunger is moveable toward the distal end of the container to expel a drug through the delivery member. The device may further include a plunger biasing member configured to urge the plunger toward the distal end of the container and a releaser member defining a guide configured to receive the at least one flange and an indicator configured to generate an audible signal indicating an end of drug delivery.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A drug delivery device may include a housing having an opening and a drug storage container including a delivery member with an insertion end configured to extend at least partially through the opening. A biasing member may initially be retained in an energized state, and may be released to drive a plunger to expel a drug from the drug storage container.
