Controlled Delivery Syringe Device
20200121857 · 2020-04-23 ·

A controlled delivery syringe device includes a syringe barrel having a proximal end and distal end which defines a chamber for containing an injectable material. A plunger rod is associated with the syringe barrel and a plunger is secured thereto which is axially movable within the syringe barrel. A plurality of equally and sequentially spaced periodic features are associated with the plunger rod and a counter member is engageable with the periodic features. Application of a distally directed force to the plunger rod results in disengagement and reengagement of the counter member with the sequentially spaced periodic features on the plunger rod, enabling advancement of the plunger rod and plunger in the syringe barrel while providing tactile feedback of dose progression of the injectable material. A method of retrofitting a syringe with a device for injecting a metered dose of injectable material is also provided.

AUTO INJECTOR WITH RECAP PREVENTION
20200108211 · 2020-04-09 · ·

Disclosed herein is an auto injector assembly comprising an auto injector for dose injection of medicament and a protective casing covering the auto injector, the auto injector having a recap prevention cap with one or more recap prevention springs and a housing partly protruding through the recap prevention cap. The housing is for accommodation of a syringe with a needle, a plunger rod, a plunger rod, a syringe driver, and a plunger rod driver.

Multiple dosage injector with rack and pinion dosage system

A dispensing mechanism for delivering a dosage of medicament including a housing, a push button, a crank arm that is slideably engageable with the push button, a ram, and a ratchet gear releasably engageable with the crank arm and ram, translation of the push button along an axis causing the crank arm to engage and rotate the ratchet gear which causes the ram to distally advance relative to the housing.

LATCH FOR AN INJECTION DEVICE AND AN INJECTION DEVICE TRAINER
20200101233 · 2020-04-02 · ·

An injection device and an injection device trainer for training a user to use an injection device. Each one of the injection device and the injection device trainer can include: a body portion; and an actuator positioned towards a proximal end of the body portion, the actuator moveable from a proximal position to a distal position; wherein the body portion comprises a body protrusion and the actuator comprises a latch that is arranged to couple with the body protrusion when the actuator is in the distal position, thus holding the actuator in the distal position.

INJECTION DEVICE FILL VOLUME MANAGEMENT

An apparatus for a firing mechanism for use in an injection device and including: a rear cap having an elongate member extending axially forwards when installed within the injection device; a plunger releasably connected, directly or indirectly, to the elongate member and, upon release of the connection to the elongate member, axially displaceable in a forward direction; and a plunger driver to drive the plunger axially forwards upon release of the connection to the elongate member, wherein the plunger and the rear cap define an axial length of the assembly, which in turn determines a start position of a forward end of the plunger before release of the connection to the elongate member, and wherein, during construction of the assembly, the plunger is releasably connectable, directly or indirectly, to the elongate member at one of a plurality of positions for controlling the axial length of the assembly.

INJECTION DEVICE FILL VOLUME MANAGEMENT

An injection device including: a body including a syringe locator for receiving a syringe; and a firing mechanism including a rear cap, a plunger configured to be axially displaced in a forward direction relative to the rear cap and a driver system for driving the plunger forwards upon activation of the injection device, the firing mechanism configured to be directly or indirectly connected to the body such that an axial spacing of the rear cap and a barrel of the syringe is fixed during operation of the injection device, wherein, the firing mechanism and/or the body include first and second connection features allowing adjustment of a relative axial position of the firing mechanism and the syringe locator during assembly of the injection device.

INCREMENTAL SYRINGE
20200069881 · 2020-03-05 ·

An incremental syringe useful for multiple injections of medications like botulinum toxin is provided. The syringe includes detents on the syringe plunger which provide a tactile feeling, a discrete audible sound or click, or preferably both, for every unit of medication aspirated or injected to or from an individual syringe. Hence, there is no need to look at the syringe, or bring it to the eye level, during use thereof. In some embodiments, a second set of detents is included, and in some embodiments a third set of detents is included. Syringe plungers useful for combining with a syringe body to produce such an incremental syringe are also described.

ENDOSCOPIC CANNULA

A cannula comprising a hollow tube made of a biocompatible, thermoplastic polymer, memory shape material, tipped with an injection needle at it distal end, assumes desired shapes as it distally emerges from a lumen or channel of an instrument such as an introducer or endoscope. The desires shape includes a curvature conforming to an inverse tangent function. The cannula may be supplied alone, with or without an injection needle, and in a sterile pouch, for use with a device of an user's choice that has a suitable lumen or channel to guide the cannula, of the cannula may be used without such an instrument.

Flush Syringe Assembly With Controlled Pulsatile Flushing

Flush syringe assemblies capable of creating pulsatile movement of the plunger rod as it moves in the distal direction within a syringe barrel, while preventing overpressurization of the catheter are provided. An exemplary flush syringe assembly includes a syringe barrel with a first pulsing element and a chamber with flush solution, a plunger rod with a stopper and a second pulsing element that interacts with the first pulsing element to provide an engagement force that causes pulsatile movement of the plunger rod and a thumb press slidably attached to the plunger rod with a pulse control element. The pulse control element is compressible to create a compression force that is greater than the engagement force of the first pulsing element and the second pulsing element.

Generating augmented reality images using sensor and location data

Embodiments relate to using sensor data and location data from a device to generate augmented reality images. A mobile device pose can be determined (a geographic position, direction and a three dimensional orientation of the device) within a location. A type of destination in the location can be identified and multiple destinations can be identified, with the mobile device receiving queue information about the identified destinations from a server. A first image can be captured. Based on the queue information, one of the identified destinations can be selected. The geographic position of each identified destination can be identified, and these positions can be combined with the mobile device pose to generate a second image. Finally, an augmented reality image can be generated by combining the first image and the second image, the augmented reality image identifying the selected one destination.
