Hypodermic syringe with vial attachment
09901682 · 2018-02-27 ·

A medical syringe apparatus includes a syringe unit, a hypodermic needle attached to the syringe unit and at least one interfacing member for mating a labeled medication container to the syringe unit. A filling needle is attached to the syringe unit for drawing fluid from a container. A movable needle sheath protects the hypodermic needle when not in use and may be moved out of the way when administering an injection. The medication label is visible. The container remains mated to the syringe when the syringe is in use. Risk of mislabeling the syringe may therefore be substantially reduced or eliminated and patient safety may accordingly be improved.

A hook portion is formed to project from a columnar portion of a cover forming a needle cover body. The hook portion is hooked by a stopper wall of an outer cylinder, whereby the needle cover body is inhibited from slipping out of the outer cylinder. An inner cylinder biased toward a barrel by a spring member is accommodated inside the outer cylinder, that is, in a through hole. The needle cover body is provided continuously to the inner cylinder. In addition, the inner cylinder is held inside the outer cylinder as a cam projection is movably engaged with a guide passage formed in the outer cylinder.

Safety needle assembly

The present invention is directed to a safety needle assembly having the high safety and high operability, comprising: a hub; a cannula; a collar; a protector; and a sheath. The sheath includes an opening of housing the cannula; a cannula fixing part of locking the cannula housed in the opening; an attachment part of rotatably supporting the sheath attached to the hub or the collar; and a protrusive stopper which a user pushes by a finger to pivot the sheath thereby to house the cannula in the opening of the sheath. Herein, the stopper is arranged at a vicinity of a central portion of the sheath in a longitudinal direction at the opposite side of the aperture of the opening, or arranged at a portion closer to a distal end side than the central portion of the sheath.
