At least a portion of the shroud beam is within the recess when the cap is in place and, the shroud beam abuts the stop after the needle shroud is locked relative to the housing of the autoinjector. The disclosure further relates to an autoinjector and to a method for assembling such an autoinjector.
SYRINGE ASSEMBLY
A syringe assembly includes a main part with a bottom part and a top part. A compressible portion is connected to the top part, and a press unit is formed to the top the compressible portion. A needle is fixed to the top part and located within the compressible portion. The tip of the needle is located corresponding to a film of the press unit. The bottom part has a first lip and a second lip formed to the inner periphery thereof. The top part has a first groove and a second groove in the outer periphery thereof. Multiple collars are telescopically connected to each other, and are connected between the top part and the bottom part. The main part is located in the multiple collars. Each collar has two engaging portions which form two engaging grooves to be engaged with each other when collapsing the collars.
Hypodermic Safety Needle
A safety needle device for connection to a medical connector, including threaded connections. The safety needle comprises a collar configured to interdigitate with a conventional needle hub, the collar having attachment points for a hinged cap, the hinged cap being in a two-piece configuration. In further embodiments, the safety needle device comprises a removable hard needle cover configured to cover needle cannula and a distal portion of a needle hub. The hard needle enclosure further comprises a cap configured to interdigitate with the needle cover and cover a proximal portion of the needle hub. The cap and at least a portion of the needle cover are covered by a removable sleeve which holds the cap and the needle cover together. Even further embodiments comprise a needle hub, a needle cover, an adapter and a cap, the adapter configured to attach to a conventional needle cap.
Hard-Packaged Safety Needle Device
A hard-packaged safety needle device comprises a needle hub having a needle cannula extending therefrom and a hard needle enclosure including a needle cover and a cap. The needle cover has an elongated body and a ribbed surface configured to create an interference fit with a proximal portion of the hub. The cap includes a body having an open distal end, a closed proximal end, and a cavity defined by the open distal end and the closed proximal end, the open distal end of the cap abutting an open proximal end of the needle cover.
CAP FOR AN INJECTION DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a cap for an injection device. The injection device comprises a body for holding a syringe having a needle extending from an end thereof. The cap is removably attachable to the body. The cap comprises an actuator and a needle shield to cover said needle. The cap further comprises a coupling between the actuator and the needle shield. The coupling is configured such that when the cap is attached to the body of an injection device axial movement of the actuator away from the body causes rotation of the needle shield relative to the body.
SAFETY INJECTION DEVICE, INJECTOR AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREOF
The present application discloses a safety injection device including a needle, a needle hub, an elastic member, a slider, a needle shield, a protective sleeve, and an outer cover. The needle hub, the elastic member, the slider, the needle shield and the protective sleeve are sleeved in sequence with the needle as a shaft. The slider is configured to rotate irreversibly after a single use. The safety injection device according to the present application has a simple and reasonable structure, and is safe, stretchable, and easy to use. In addition, it avoids fear of the needle tip during injection when use. After use, the injection device utilizes the eccentric principle to prevent from being fully depressed again, and the needle tip will not be exposed again, thereby more effectively avoiding the risk of cross infection caused by accidental contact with the needle tip after use.
Compression seal for use with a liquid component storage vial of an auto-injector
Contemplated herein is a medication mixing device which can include a housing having therein a first chamber containing a first medicament component and a second chamber provided containing a second medicament component provided with a sealing structure selectively isolating the first chamber from the second chamber. The sealing structure can include a first sealing component having a first sealing interface and a second sealing component having a second sealing interface wherein a first compression force can be applied to the first and second sealing components causes the sealing interfaces to form a seal. The first compression force can then be configured to allow the first sealing component and the second sealing component to maintain at least one degree of freedom with respect to one another.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTION OF A SAFETY DEVICE FOR INJECTION DEVICES
A safety device for injection devices is described. The safety device includes a sleeve extending along a longitudinal axis of the injection device's body, at least partially enclosing the injection device's needle and body, and including a guide slot; a collar attached to a distal end region of the body and locking the safety device in an axial direction; and a cap that can be arranged at least in part over the sleeve to prevent the body from moving relative to the sleeve. The cap includes a receptacle for the needle. The collar includes a guide pin that engages the guide slot. The collar can be arranged to rotate relative to the sleeve, and the receptacle of the cap can engage the collar and prevent the collar from rotating. The sleeve and the collar can each include a lock.
Device for the dosed administration of a fluid product, adapted for the replacement of a container
A device for administering a fluid product, the device including a first housing part provided with a receiver for the product, a second housing part detachably connectable to the first housing part, a piston rod held such that it can be displaced for the exertion of an emptying movement, an actuatable or releasable drive element for the piston rod, a coupling element including a coupling input element that couples the drive element to the piston rod in a coupling engagement, transmits a driving force of the drive element to the piston rod, and triggers the emptying movement, and a decoupling element displaceably connected to the second housing part and coupled to the first housing part such that it is displaced, by a movement of the housing parts in relation to each other when the housing parts are separated into a decoupling position wherein the piston rod is decoupled from the coupling input element.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE WITH FEEDBACK MECHANISM
The disclosure relates to a drug delivery device comprising: a case adapted to hold a medicament container, a plunger disposed within the case and slidable from a proximal position into a distal position for delivering a medicament from the medicament container, at least one feedback mechanism that is in operative connection with the plunger, the feedback mechanism comprising a collar, a control spring biasing the collar in a distal direction, a needle shroud, operatively axially abutting the collar in a first coupled state and prevented from axially decoupling the collar by the plunger in its proximal position, wherein the plunger, when approaching the distal position during movement from the proximal position towards the distal position, is adapted to allow axial decoupling of the needle shroud from the collar, thus allowing for a limited axial movement of the collar relative to the needle shroud until the collar axially abuts the needle shroud in a second coupled state.
