The guide wire may include a safety tip having a non-coiled configuration in the withdrawn position and a coiled configuration in an advanced position. The catheter insertion device may include a sliding member attached to the guide wire, wherein movement of the sliding member translates the guide wire from the withdrawn position to the advanced position.

Delivery system for ocular implant

A delivery system is disclosed which can be used to deliver an ocular implant into a target location within the eye via an ab interno procedure. In some embodiments, the implant can provide fluid communication between the anterior chamber and the suprachoroidal or supraciliary space while in an implanted state. The delivery system can include a proximal handle component and a distal delivery component. In addition, the proximal handle component can include an actuator to control the release of the implant from the delivery component into the target location in the eye.

Autoinjector

A detent mechanism for controlling translation between two components in a longitudinal direction includes a resilient beam on one of the components and a rhomboid ramp member on the other component. The resilient beam is essentially straight when relaxed and has a first beam head and is arranged to interact in a ramped engagement with respectively one of two ramps. Each ramp is on one longitudinal side of the rhomboid ramp member such that application of a translative force between the components in one longitudinal direction with the first beam head engaged to one of the ramps in a first state deflects the resilient beam in one transversal direction and such that application of a translative force between the components in the other longitudinal direction with the first beam head engaged to the other one of the ramps deflects the resilient beam in the other transversal direction.

AUTO-INJECTION DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE

The invention relates to an automatic injector device comprising a single-use, disposable, drug delivery assembly comprising a housing and a syringe assembly located at least partially within the housing, said syringe assembly including a plunger, a pre-filled unit-dose drug containing chamber, and needle, said plunger, drug containing chamber and needle being configured and dimensioned to function as an injection syringe; a reusable motorized transmission assembly comprising a housing, a motor and transmission assembly located within the housing, said transmission assembly being configured and dimensioned to engage the plunger of said syringe in the drug delivery assembly and expel said unit dose dmg from the drug containing chamber, into the needle and out of the drug delivery assembly; said single-use disposable drug delivery assembly and said reusable motorized transmission assembly are in substantial axial alignment along a longitudinal axis defined by the syringe, plunger, pre-filled unit-dose drug containing chamber, and needle.

The present invention relates to the field of safe syringes, and particularly discloses an active self-locking type syringe, including a barrel, a needle hub, a plunger assembly, a plunger protection cover, a needle cap, a needle tube, a needle point protection sleeve, a spring, guiding limit assemblies, initial clamping assemblies and a trigger ring plug. In an initial state, the trigger ring plug is located in a trigger cavity and is not in contact with the trigger parts or is in contact with the trigger parts but not enough to separate the initial clamping assemblies, the inner wall of the trigger ring plug and the needle hub are sealed, and the outer wall of the trigger ring plug and the inner wall of the barrel are sealed. In the above structure, the trigger ring plug arranged in the trigger cavity is triggered from the interior of the barrel close to a patient end, and the needle point protection sleeve is released, so that technical purposes of needle point exposure prevention and self-locking are realized; and the trigger way is ingenious in design, no other part for assisting triggering exists except the barrel and the needle point protection sleeve, and the active self-locking type syringe has the technical advantages that the structure is simple, the radial dimension of the barrel is small, the components are concise, and the production cost is low.

An autoinjector includes a case adapted to hold a medicament container, a needle shroud telescopically coupled to the case, and a plunger slidably disposed in the case. The needle shroud is movable between a first extended position, a retracted position, and a second extended position relative to the case. The plunger is movable between a proximal position, an intermediate position, and a distal position relative to the case. When the plunger is in the intermediate position and the needle shroud is in the retracted position, the plunger abuts the case to prevent the needle shroud from returning to the extended position. When the plunger is in the distal position and the needle shroud is in the second extended position, the plunger abuts the case to prevent the needle shroud from returning to the retracted position.

CAP FOR AN INJECTION DEVICE

A cap for an injection device includes a removable needle boot for covering a needle of a syringe within the injection device. The cap comprises a cap body and a first boot engagement portion. The first boot engagement portion is movable relative to the cap body and comprises a first pinch portion. The first pinch portion is configured such that application of compressive force to the first pinch portion effects engagement of the first boot engagement portion with the needle boot for removal of the needle boot with the cap as it is removed from the injection device.

A safe insulin pen needle has a structure effectively circumvents the risk of the needle head protection failure caused by the rotation of the insulin pen during the needle pulling process by some users through a first check flange on one side of a first initial fixing position matched with a first elastic clamping jaw. The safe insulin pen needle effectively circumvents the safety risk that the needle tail tends to damage the user through the needle tail protection structure and, at the same time, effectively circumvents the risk that the needle tail protector will rotate and thus the needle tail protection will fail during the separation of the insulin pen from the insulin pen needle through a second check flange on one side of a second initial fixing position matched with a second elastic clamping jaw.
