Syringe
It is an object of the present invention to provide a syringe which is capable of preventing an accident such that a patient inadvertently sticks her/his hand with an injection needle when improperly performing a needle retracting operation. A sleeve (10) is fitted around a syringe barrel (2) so as to be axially movable from an administration position such that the injection needle (5) projects to a distill side to an accommodation position such that the injection needle (5) is accommodated. A coil spring (16) for biasing the sleeve (10) toward the accommodation position is provided between the sleeve (10) and the syringe barrel (2), and is held in a compressed state in a spring holder (17). The spring holder (17) is disposed in association with the syringe barrel (2) so as to release the coil spring by further pushing the syringe barrel (2) to the distal side after completion of the administration of a liquid drug. The sleeve (10) is axially engaged with the syringe barrel (2) so as to be locked at the accommodation position when being moved to the accommodation position by a biasing force of the coil spring (16).

The flexible collar further includes at least one accordion region having a plurality of pivots, at least two of the pivots being radially spaced apart from the longitudinal axis at different distances, and the accordion region being configured to radially deform.
PAIN-REDUCING INJECTION APPARATUS
A pain-reducing injection apparatus to enhance the safety, efficacy, and efficiency of injection procedures which utilize topical pain-reducing measures. Apparatuses and methods of use provide pain reduction through thermal cooling of an injection region or vibrating the region or both, and optionally include safety shielding and lockout features.
SAFETY DEVICE FOR A MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A safety device for a medicament delivery device having a housing, a medicament delivery member guard in the housing being rotationally fixed and axially movable relative to the housing, a biasing element, and a rotator arranged within the housing that rotates relative to the housing between an initial unlocked position and a final locked position, wherein the medicament delivery member guard has a guide track and a stop member, the guide track has an inclined section configured to cause rotation of the rotator, where the rotator has a protrusion configured as a stop surface, where in an initial unlocked position the protrusion is arranged in the guide track and where in a final locked position the rotator is rotated with respect to the position of the medicament delivery member guard, and wherein in the final locked position the medicament delivery member guard is locked against distal movement relative to the housing.
Autoinjector having needle shield triggering
An autoinjector (100′) for expelling a single dose of a drug from a held cartridge (600) comprising a piston (630). The autoinjector includes a needle shield (350, 380′) axially movable from an initial extended position via a triggering position to a trigger release position. The needle shield (350, 380′) is operatively coupled to a plunger release element (320′, 1320) cooperating with a plunger (310, 400) to define a releasable retaining mechanism that retains the plunger release element (320′, 1320) threadedly engaged with a base thread component (204′, 1204) in a predefined relative rotational and axial position and against rotational bias provided by an actuator (330). The needle shield (350, 380′) is configured for operating the retaining mechanism to release the retaining of the plunger release element (320′, 1320) and the base thread component (204′, 1204) from the predefined relative rotational and axial position upon the needle shield (350, 380′) being moved into the trigger release position.
AUTOINJECTOR APPARATUS
An autoinjector apparatus is disclosed which comprises a single-use cassette and an autoinjector. The cassette comprises a housing and a sleeve movably disposed in the housing. A syringe may be disposed in the sleeve and secured therein with a lock cap. The lock cap is affixed to a distal end of the sleeve and contacts the distal end of the syringe. A shield remover extends through an opening in a proximal end of the housing for removing a needle shield which covers a needle of the syringe. A cassette identification arrangement is provided on a surface of the housing to enable the autoinjector to identify the cassette. The autoinjector is provided with a detector for reading the cassette identification arrangement.
Sheath protecting a cannula, and safety syringe comprising said sheath
A protective sheath (100) for a cannula (210) arranged on a hub (200) which can be fitted onto a syringe (300), the sheath including female elements intended to cooperate with male elements (201) of the hub (200) for guiding thereof, and characterized in that the female elements include a retracted position before use RBU, a retracted position during use RU, and a retracted position after use RAU, wherein the whole length of the cannula (210) is inside the sheath (100), the female elements further include an ejection position E, wherein whole or part of the cannula (210) protrudes out of the sheath (100), and further characterized in that at least two of the RBU, RU, and RAU positions are substantially transversally aligned.
A SYRINGE SHOCK ABSORBER FOR USE IN AN INJECTION DEVICE
For use in an injection device, e.g., an auto-injector of any type, a sleeve which holds the medicament chamber is sufficiently deformable that it functions as a shock absorbing member to distribute the force exerted on the medicament chamber during use of the injection device.
Disposable Safe Vein Transfusion Puncture Needle
A disposable safe vein transfusion puncture needle comprising a needle head (4), a needle base (3), a needle sheath sleeved on the needle head (4), and a hose (6) communicated with the needle base (3), and further comprising a plurality of slidable components (1, 2) and a plurality of limiting mechanisms (11, 12, 13, 21, 31, 32), wherein the needle base (3) is in a tubular shape, with one end stationary and communicated with the needle head (4) and the other end connected to the hose (6); each of the slidable components (1, 2) is in a tubular shape and has two open ends, the plurality of slidable components (1, 2) are sleeved on one another, the innermost slidable component (1) is movably sleeved onto the needle base (3), and a sum of lengths of the plurality of slidable components (1, 2) in a moving direction is longer than the length of the needle head (4); the limiting mechanisms (11, 12, 13, 21, 31, 32) are disposed on the plurality of slidable components (1, 2) as well as on the needle base (3).
