SAFE INSULIN NEEDLE
Safe insulin needle assembly includes protection sheath, needle, safety protection sleeve, pressure seat and needle holder. The needle is arranged on the central axis of the needle holder. The pressure seat is sheathed over the upper portion of the needle holder. The safety protection sleeve is sheathed on the needle holder and the pressure seat as a whole. The upper protection of the safety protection sleeve is connected to and cooperates with the pressure seat. The needle protrudes out of the top end of the upper portion of the safety protection sleeve. The lower portion of the safety protection sleeve is connected to and cooperates with the lower portion of the needle holder. The protection sheath is sheathed on the safety protection sleeve and the needle as a whole. The lower portion of the protection sheath is connected to and cooperates with the lower portion of the safety protection sleeve.
Single use safety needle guard
A Hypodermic Needle Safety Guard intended for sharps prevention and safer hypodermic needle use during all stages of an injection process. The Safety Guard may include two symmetrically positioned multi-featured arms that include spring tension, multiple hinges and needle locks. These arms may connect a proximal Luer body and a distal alignment tip thereby enabling the guard to open, close and lock on a needle when manual pressure is applied. The Guard position during hypodermic needle use tends to prevent sharps injury by adjusting the exposure of the Needle tip.

SAFETY SYRINGE
A safety syringe includes an outer barrel having a receiving groove located on an inner surface of a rear end thereof between a first annular flange and a second annular flange, an inner barrel having a needle mount located on a front end thereof and a positioning portion adjacent to the needle mount, and a plunger axially movably inserted into the inside of the inner barrel.
MEDICAL NEEDLE
To provide a medical needle capable of preventing malfunction of a movement mechanism at the time of use, and improving safety even further. A medical needle 1A includes: a needle portion 10; a case 20 which is capable of exposing a needle tip of the needle portion 10 from a distal end, and is capable of accommodating the needle portion 10; a movement mechanism M which moves the needle portion 10 inside the case 20; an operation portion 62 for operating the movement mechanism; and an operation regulation portion 80A that regulates operation of the operation portion 62.
Systems and methods to improve instrument guidance within an intravenous catheter assembly
A catheter assembly and/or an introducer may include one or more features configured to guide a probe and/or a catheter distally through a septum. The catheter assembly may include a catheter adapter and the septum. The catheter adapter may include a distal end, a proximal end, and a lumen extending therebetween. In some embodiments, the septum may be disposed within the lumen. The septum may include a proximal surface that is tapered inwardly in a distal direction such that the proximal surface of the septum is configured to guide the probe and/or the catheter distally through the septum. The catheter assembly may be configured to receive an introducer, which may include an introducer element. A proximal end of the introducer element may include another proximal surface that is tapered inwardly in the distal direction such that the other proximal surface is configured to guide the probe or the catheter distally through the septum.
Safety syringe apparatus
An apparatus for use with a syringe to provide a safety syringe, the apparatus including: a sheath deployable for at least partially covering a needle of the syringe; a sheath actuator for deploying the sheath; and a ratioed mechanism linking the sheath and the sheath actuator and configured such that a magnitude of movement of the sheath is greater than a magnitude of movement of the sheath actuator during deployment of the sheath.
AUTOMATIC INJECTION DEVICE WITH A DAMPENING ELEMENT
An automatic injection device including a generally cylindrical syringe body having an opening, an outlet and an inner cylindrical surface adapted to contain an injectable liquid to be injected at an injection site via the outlet; a piston disposed in the cylindrical syringe body; a driving assembly, including an elongate plunger element having a forward end adapted to be axially inserted into the generally cylindrical syringe body and an at least partial forward sealing element mounted onto the elongate plunger element adjacent the forward end for creating an at least temporary slidable seal between the elongate plunger element and the inner cylindrical surface, whereby axial insertion of the elongate plunger element and the forward sealing element into the generally cylindrical syringe body creates friction between the forward sealing element and the inner cylindrical surface and also creates an at least temporary air spring between the forward sealing element and the piston, wherein the friction and the air spring dampen motion of the elongate plunger element.
Systems and methods to improve instrument guidance within an intravenous catheter assembly
A system for facilitating instrument delivery through a peripheral intravenous catheter (“PIVC”) may include a catheter assembly having a catheter adapter, an extension tube extending from a side port of the catheter adapter, a septum disposed in a lumen of the catheter adapter, and a PIVC extending distally from the catheter adapter. The septum may include a first piece and a second piece and may be least partially disposed within a canister. The system may include an extension set, which may include a distal end and a proximal end. The distal end may include a distal connector and a rigid tube. The proximal end may include a proximal connector. The distal connector may be coupled to the proximal end of the catheter adapter. The rigid tube may penetrate the septum in response to the distal connector being coupled to the proximal end of the catheter adapter.
Passive Safety Huber Needle
A safety needle system includes a safety mechanism for a needle assembly, such as a Huber needle. A main body has a channel having a proximal end to encompass tubing and a distal end for positioning proximate a needle. The main body further has a first hinge mechanism and a first latching mechanism. A movable cover has needle receptacle, a second hinge mechanism connected with the first hinge mechanism of the main body, and a biasing member for pivoting movable cover about the first and second hinge mechanisms relative to the main body. The movable cover has a second latching mechanism to latch with the first latching mechanism in a closed position, in which the safety mechanism can be undocked from the needle and slid away from the needle along the tubing. The movable cover has a release mechanism to allow pivoting of the movable cover about the hinge mechanisms such that the needle receptacle of the movable cover at least partially receives the needle of the needle assembly in an open, locked position.
