The present disclosure provides an apparatus i.e. shelf unit for attachment to the bed is described. The shelf is easy to install, without tools, and which will not damage the bedsides. The shelf has an upper surface to serve as a resting surface for holding items resting thereon and a lower surface called clamps which rests against the top of the bedside to support the weight of the shelf unit and the items resting thereon.

A foldable chair side table has a snap-on/snap-off clamp which is designed for easy and simple installation on most foldable chairs. A leveling system is provided for ready adjustment to horizontally align the table in relation to the chair. The table is lightweight for ease of use and portability and comes equipped with an attached strap. A support fixture is disclosed that may be removably clamped to a bed rail (or any other support member) and includes a lower support arm attached to the removable clamp through a rotatable connector. A tablet computer positioning assembly for stabilizing and positioning a tablet computer includes a plate that is configured to position on a substantially horizontal surface. A first frame is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from the plate proximate to a first side of the plate. A second frame is pivotally coupled to the first frame and extends substantially perpendicularly from the first frame over the plate. The second frame is selectively fixedly couplable to the first frame so that the second frame is selectively angularly positionable relative to the plate. A plurality of couplers that is coupled to the second frame is configured to couple to a rim of a tablet computer to couple the tablet computer to the second frame so that the second frame is configured to selectively position the tablet computer relative to the plate.

There is disclosed a portably suspended retractable shelf for storing furniture-side items that includes a horizontal platform having an inner portion and an outer portion. In various embodiments, the inner portion is adapted to be slidably captured between an upper cushion and a lower supporting structure. At least one of a projector insert rotationally adjustable to a plurality of orientations and the following upward-facing compartments is disposed on the outer portion of the horizontal platform and is accessible to a user on the furniture: a collapsible basin, a hanging flexible pocket, and a foldable box. A cutout hole is configured to hold the projector insert or the compartments in a suspended configuration through the shelf. A downward-facing sliding drawer compartment is mounted and/or supported underneath the outer portion of the shelf. A storage container extends from a leading surface of the portable suspended retractable shelf. Other embodiments are also disclosed.
