A first articular portion of the articular portions is spheroidal and a second articular portion is defined by a cylindrical helix.
Intersomatic cage, intervertebral prosthesis, anchoring device and implantation instruments
An intersomatic cage, an intervertebral prosthesis, an anchoring device and an instrument for implantation of the cage or the prosthesis and the anchoring device are provided. An intersomatic cage or an intervertebral prosthesis fit closely to the anchoring device, which includes a body of elongated shape on a longitudinal axis, of curved shape describing, along the longitudinal axis, an arc whose dimensions and radius of curvature are designed in such a manner that the anchoring device may be implanted in the vertebral plate of a vertebra by presenting its longitudinal axis substantially along the plane of the intervertebral space, where the anchoring device is inserted, by means of the instrument, through a slot located in at least one peripheral wall of the cage or on at least one plate of the intervertebral disc prosthesis to penetrate into at least one vertebral plate.
KNEE PROSTHESIS AND KNEE PROSTHESIS COMPONENT
A knee prosthesis includes a tibial component, a bearing and a femoral component. The tibial component includes a platform and at least one rib extending upwardly and forwardly, a front edge of upper surface of the platform is provided with at least one front lug boss, and back edge of the upper surface of the platform is provide with at least one back lug boss. The lower surface of the bearing is provided with a groove matching with the at least one rib, a front slot matching with the front lug boss and a back slot; the femoral component is articulated with the bearing; at least one rib is provided with a medial wall and a lateral wall, one of the them is provided with a bent portion and formed with a first inclined surface which extends in a direction away from the other one.
Bone Anchor and Related Devices, Systems, and Methods
Disclosed herein are various attachment devices for anchoring tendons within bone and associated methods and systems. Disclosed is a device for repairing/reconstructing a ligament rupture via compression and grasping. The device includes first and second elongate body portions, where each elongate body portion includes at least one elongate member having a first end and a second end and a plurality of bands coupled to the at least one elongate member. The device further includes a connection structure disposed at a distal end of the at least one elongate member connecting the first and second elongate body portions such the first and second elongate body portions are movable in relation to each other. The device also includes an lumen defined by the first and second elongate body portions for insertion of a tendon graft.
Implant With Protected Fusion Zones
An implant may include a body having a first portion and a second portion and a structural member having a central member curve. In addition, the structural member may be exposed on an outer surface of the implant. Further, the central member curve may include a winding segment, and the winding segment of the central member curve may wind around a fixed path extending from the first portion of the body to the second portion of the body. Also, the central member curve may make one or more full turns around the fixed path. And, the structural member may have a member diameter at the winding segment, wherein the winding segment has a winding diameter corresponding with the full turn around the fixed path and the member diameter is greater than the winding diameter.
Implant With Curved Bone Contacting Elements
An implant may include a body having a leading edge portion, a trailing edge portion, and an intermediate portion. The leading edge portion may include a substantially smooth surface forming a substantial majority of a leading edge surface and the trailing edge portion may include a monolithic structure including at least one receptacle configured to receive an insertion tool. The intermediate portion may include a plurality of elongate curved structural members continuously formed with at least one of the leading edge portion and the trailing edge portion. In addition, the elongate curved structural members may be configured such that the intermediate portion remains substantially rigid under compressive forces during insertion of the implant between bone surfaces of a patient. Also, the elongate curved structural members may include an elongate curved structural member extending longitudinally from the leading edge portion to the trailing edge portion and having a substantially sinusoidal configuration.
INTERBODY IMPLANT WITH CONCAVE PROFILED NOSE
An interbody implant and inserter tool for spinal fusion. The interbody implant includes a cage portion and a nose portion. In some embodiments, an outer surface of the nose portion defines at least a first concave profile in a first direction, and may define a second concave profile in a second direction, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction. The outer surface may also define an oblong cross-section normal to a nose axis. The oblong cross-section may be axisymmetric or continuously curved (or both) about the nose axis. The concave profile(s) enable easier initial insertion of for more precisely locating the interbody implant, so that the greater insertion forces required during implantation do not occur until the interbody implant is securely and accurately placed.
POSTERIOR STABILIZED KNEE PROSTHESIS SYSTEM
A knee prosthesis system includes a set of femoral components of different sizes. Each femoral component has a pair of condyles defining an intercondylar notch and a posterior cam positioned in the notch.
