MULTIPLE SPINDLE ADJUSTABLE INTERBODY FUSION DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE
An interbody fusion device includes a base member, a top member, and an expansion mechanism for moving the top member relative to the base member. The expansion mechanism may include a connector drive rod assembly, a gear, a threaded rod, and a support means. The gear ring is coupled to the threaded rod and is rotatable. The expansion mechanism may also include at least one load head coupled to the threaded rod. An alternative interbody fusion device is also disclosed and includes a bottom member, a superior member, and an expansion mechanism for moving the superior member relative to the base member, wherein the expansion mechanism comprises at least one expansion assembly for moving an end of the superior member relative to the bottom member.
EXPANDABLE MEDICAL IMPLANT FOR ADOLESCENT CRANIUM DEFECTS
The present disclosure is directed to an expandable medical implant for the repair of cranium defects in adolescent patients. The implants of the present disclosure can include a plurality of interconnected links that are movable with respect to each other as the underlying cranium grows and expands.
Flanged interbody fusion device
Methods and devices are disclosed for treating the vertebral column. An implant for treating the spine is provided comprising at least two articulations between the spacer and the bone facing surface of the fixation plate. Another implant for treating the spine is also provided, comprising two or more fixation plates attached to a spacer with two or more articulations, wherein the fixation plates are independently movable.
Six degree spine stabilization devices and methods
An implant stabilizes two adjacent bones of a joint, while enabling a natural kinematic relative movement of the bones. Support components are connected to each bone of the joint, and a flexible core is interposed between them. The core and at least one of the support components are provided with a smooth sliding surface upon which the core and support component may slide relative to each other, enabling a corresponding movement of the bones. The surfaces may have a mating curvature, to mimic a natural movement of the joint. The core is resilient, and may bend or compress, enabling the bones to move towards each other, and or to bend relative to each other.
Expandable interbody fusions devices
Expandable fusion devices, systems, instruments, and methods thereof. The expandable fusion implant may include an upper endplate assembly and a lower endplate assembly. The upper and lower endplate assemblies may be configured to expand in width. A rotatable actuator may move one or more driving ramps, which mate with an upper ramp and a lower ramp, respectively. The actuator may cause independent movement of one or more of the driving ramps, thereby causing an expansion in height of the upper and lower endplate assemblies.
EXPANDABLE INTERBODY
An expandable interbody device used as a prosthesis during spinal surgery. The expandable interbody device is configured to be inserted into the space between spinal disks to provide stability. The expandable interbody device includes a drive block, a linkage block, a drive screw, a first endplate, a second endplate, and at least two linkages. Rotation of the drive screw causes movement of the linkage block relative to the drive block and/or movement of the first endplate relative to the second endplate.
COMPLIANT SPINAL IMPLANT
The present invention relates generally to prosthetic spinal implants. Specifically, the present invention relates to a compliant implant for spinal intervertebral disc replacement.
EXPANDABLE INTERVERTEBRAL IMPLANT WITH INDEPENDENT ADJUSTMENTS
An expandable intervertebral implant comprises an expandable cage comprising a central frame, a superior endplate, an inferior endplate, an anterior adjustment mechanism and a posterior adjustment mechanism. The central frame including an anterior (distal) threaded bore and a posterior (proximal) bore. The superior (upper) end plate movably coupled along a posterior portion of the central frame. The inferior (lower) end plate movably coupled along the posterior portion of the central frame opposite the superior end plate. The anterior adjustment mechanism including an anterior wedge coupled to an anterior screw movable within the anterior threaded bore. The posterior adjustment mechanism including a posterior wedge coupled to a posterior screw movable within the posterior bore.
Steerable implant assembly
A steerable expandable implant including a base member, an adjustable member coupled to the base member, the adjustable member movable between a collapsed position and an expanded position, a pivot member rotatably received by the base member and configured to receive a tool such that the tool and the pivot member are rotatable relative to the base member between a first position and a second position, wherein the pivot member is translationally fixed relative to the base member, and a first control member received by the base member, wherein manipulation of the first control member causes the adjustable member to move between the collapsed position and the expanded position.
Expandable fusions devices, instruments, and methods thereof
Expandable fusion devices, systems, instruments, and methods thereof. The expandable fusion device is capable of being installed inside an intervertebral disc space to maintain normal disc spacing and restore spinal stability, thereby facilitating an intervertebral fusion. The fusion device may include a body, a first endplate, and a second endplate. A drive screw may be rotated to move the first and second endplates outwardly and into an expanded configuration. Instruments may be provided to ensure the implant is inserted safely and as intended.
