The first article has a first elastic component configured for providing fit and comfort to a male user. The second article has a second elastic component configured for providing fit and comfort to a female user. The first and the second elastic components each comprise a plurality of elastic elements extending at least partly along each respective article. The first and second elastic components differ from each other in at least the positioning or the elastic strength of the respective elastic elements. A method for manufacturing the array is also disclosed.
DISPOSABLE PANT-TYPE ABSORBENT ARTICLE
The disclosure relates to a disposable pant-type absorbent article, such as a pant diaper, a sanitary pant or incontinence pant, for an adult user. The absorbent article has a longitudinal direction (Y) and a transverse direction (X). The absorbent article includes a front body panel having a first at least partly elastic region extending along leg edges of the front body panel, and a second at least partly elastic region located next to the first elastic region. A back body panel has a third elastic region extending at least partly over the buttocks-covering section of the back body panel. Each of the elastic regions is elasticised by means of a plurality of elastic threads arranged substantially in the transverse direction across a major portion of the front or back body panel. A side edge of the third elastic region overlaps in the longitudinal direction both a side edge of the first at least partly elastic region and part of a side edge of the second at least partly elastic region at the side seams.
WEARABLE ARTICLE COMPRISING AN ELASTIC LAMINATE
Wearable article comprising an elastic laminate with excellent sweat management properties. The elastic laminate comprises an inner first nonwoven layer and an outer second nonwoven layer. The outer layer has a higher hydrophilicity than the inner layer. The laminate has a total caliper when subjected to the NMR MOUSE method as described. The total caliper has a first sub-caliper corresponding to 50% of the total caliper, and a second sub-caliper corresponding to the remaining 50% of the total caliper. The elastic laminate has a Liquid Ratio of the first sub-caliper to the second sub-caliper of at least 1.1 after 1 minute according to the NMR MOUSE method.
Absorbent article having elastic belt
An absorbent article including a main body with an absorbent core, and a ring-like elastic belt, is disclosed. The article may include a front belt and a back belt each formed by an inner sheet, an outer sheet and a plurality of elastic bodies sandwiched therebetween and running in the transverse direction. The elastic bodies in the back belt may include a plurality of waist elastic bodies having elasticity over the entire transverse width of the back belt; a plurality of tummy elastic bodies removed of their elasticity in at least a portion overlapping the absorbent core, and a core edge elastic body disposed overlapping the absorbent core and adjacent the distal edge of the absorbent core, the core edge elastic body having elasticity over the entire transverse width of the back belt.
Absorbent article(s) chassis comprising beamed elastics
The present disclosure relates to absorbent article's chassis that may comprise one or more pluralities of tightly spaced (less than 4 mm, less than 3 mm, less than 2 mm, and less than 1 mm) and/or low decitex (less than 300, less than 200, less than 100 dtex) and/or low strain (less than 300%, less than 200%, less than 100%) elastics to deliver low pressure less than 1 psi (according to the conditions defined by the Pressure-Under-Strand Test in the Method below) under the elastics. The elastics in the chassis may be oriented parallel or transverse to the longitudinal axis.
Pant structure with efficiently manufactured and aesthetically pleasing rear leg profile
A disposable absorbent pant having a front belt portion and a rear belt portion is disclosed. The front and rear belt portions are joined at side seams and the rear belt portion has a greater length than the front belt portion. A lower edge of the rear belt portion forms at least in part edges of left and right leg openings to the rear of the side seams. The rear belt portion includes first and second layers of nonwoven web material sandwiching a plurality of laterally extending and laterally pre-strained elastic strands, disposed below the side seams. A first of the plurality of elastic strands differs from a second of the plurality of elastic strands by one or more of amount of pre-strain, tensile modulus, decitex, and combinations thereof.
Elasticated materials with directional stretch properties
Elasticated materials and absorbent articles comprising elasticated materials are disclosed. In an embodiment, an elasticated material may comprise a first layer bonded to a second layer by first bonds and second bonds. A plurality of elastomeric strands may extend between the first layer and the second layer. A first bond and a second bond are disposed on opposite sides of a first strand and are separated by a longitudinal distance less than an un-tensioned diameter of the first strand, and a third bond and a fourth bond are disposed on opposite sides of a second strand and are separated by a longitudinal distance less than an un-tensioned diameter of the second strand.
