PANT-TYPE WEARABLE ARTICLE
A wearable article includes front and back elastic belts, a crotch region, a waist opening, and leg openings. Each elastic belt is a laminate having an inner sheet, an outer sheet, and a an elastic member running in the transverse direction. Elastic bonding continuously bonds the elastic member for at least about 10 mm in the direction of stretch in a region adjacent side edges of the elastic belts, and vertical bonding applied to the inner and/or the outer sheet intermittently bonds the elastic member to said inner and/or outer sheets. At least one of the inner sheet and the outer sheet comprises a plurality of deformations aligned in the longitudinal direction. The article has a Stretch Circumference Force of about 6.5 N or less and a Fit Circumference Force of at least about 3.0 N. The ratio of Stretch Circumference Force/Fit Circumference Force is less than about 1.8.
WEARABLE ARTICLE HAVING ELASTIC BELT
Disclosed is a wearable article comprising a main body and a ring-like elastic belt comprising a front belt and a back belt. At least some of the elastic bodies may be arranged in an array, the array defined as meeting: a) one array is formed by 2-10 elastic bodies; b) each elastic body within one array is disposed in an inner-interval between each elastic body of 2-4 mm; and c) one specific array disposed in an extra-interval between at least one neighboring elastic bodies outside the specific array of greater than the inner-interval. Further, the front belt may comprise at least 5 arrays.
ELASTICATED MATERIALS WITH DIRECTIONAL STRETCH PROPERTIES
Elasticated materials and absorbent articles comprising elasticated materials are disclosed. In an embodiment, an elasticated material can comprise a first web material, a second web material bonded to the first web material, and a plurality of elastomeric strands extending in a lateral direction and disposed between the first and second web materials. The material may comprise a pair of bonds disposed on opposite sides of an elastomeric strand and spaced apart across the elastomeric strand a distance less than an untensioned diameter of the elastomeric strand of the plurality of elastomeric strands. Additionally, the elasticated material may exhibit a first amount of elongation in a direction perpendicular to the lateral direction at a given tension along a first length of the elasticated material and a second amount of elongation in a direction perpendicular to the lateral direction at the given tension along a second length of the elasticated material.
Methods of making laminates for absorbent articles
A method of making a laminate for an absorbent article is provided. The laminate comprises elastic elements disposed at least partially intermediate two substrates. The first substrate has a primary fiber bond pattern formed therein and comprising a plurality of primary fiber bonds. The method comprises forming densified regions in the first substrate. A perimeter of each of the densified regions is larger than a perimeter of each of the primary fiber bonds. The densified regions together form a pattern of densified regions in the first substrate. The method comprises adhesively attaching the elastic elements to the first substrate, joining the second substrate to the first substrate or to some of the elastic elements, and forming a plurality of rugosities in the first substrate by allowing the elastic elements to at least partially contract. The frequency and amplitude ranges of the rugosities result from the pattern of the densified regions.
WEARABLE ARTICLE HAVING ELASTIC BELT
An article with the entirety of the length of the belt side edge of the front belt seamed with a certain length of the belt side edge of the back belt to define a seam length LS. The front and back belts may each be divided into 4 zones extending in the transverse direction and defined by its location from the distal edge to the proximal edge relative to the percentage of the seam length LS where: 0-25% is the waist zone, 25-50% is the distal tummy zone, 50-85% is the proximal tummy zone, and 85-100% is the leg zone. The tensile stress of the front leg zone may be no more than 50% of the tensile stress of the front proximal tummy zone, and the tensile stress of the back leg zone may be no more than 100% of the tensile stress of the back proximal tummy zone.
WEARABLE ARTICLE HAVING ELASTIC BELT
The present disclosure relates to wearable articles having an elastic belt having arrays of elastic bodies.
Disposable pant-type absorbent article
The disclosure relates to a disposable pant-type absorbent article, such as a pant diaper, a sanitary pant or incontinence pant, for an adult user. The absorbent article has a longitudinal direction (Y) and a transverse direction (X). The absorbent article includes a front body panel having a first at least partly elastic region extending along leg edges of the front body panel, and a second at least partly elastic region located next to the first elastic region. A back body panel has a third elastic region extending at least partly over the buttocks-covering section of the back body panel. Each of the elastic regions is elasticised by means of a plurality of elastic threads arranged substantially in the transverse direction across a major portion of the front or back body panel. A side edge of the third elastic region overlaps in the longitudinal direction both a side edge of the first at least partly elastic region and part of a side edge of the second at least partly elastic region at the side seams.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING A BELT PORTION WITH A TEXTURE ZONE HAVING A TEXTURE RATIO

The absorbent article comprises a belt portion extending from the chassis. The belt portion comprises a first substrate, a second substrate joined to the first substrate, and a plurality of elongate elastic elements disposed at least partially intermediate the first substrate and the second substrate. The belt portion comprises a texture zone having a texture ratio of greater than about 5.
