ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH WAISTBAND
A disposable absorbent article is disclosed that includes a first waist region, a second waist region, a crotch region disposed between the first waist region and second waist region, a waist edge in the first waist region, at least one waistband in the first waist region adjacent the waist edge, at least one fastener in the second waist region, and a waist assembly in the first waist region, wherein the waist assembly has a Corrugation Regularity greater than about 75%.
ARRAY OF GENDER-SPECIFIC ABSORBENT ARTICLES
An array of gender-specific disposable absorbent articles is disclosed. The array comprises: a first disposable absorbent article adapted to be worn by males and a second disposable article adapted to be worn by females. Both articles have in their longitudinal direction, a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion between the front portion and the back portion. The first article has a first elastic component configured for providing fit and comfort to a male user. The second article has a second elastic component configured for providing fit and comfort to a female user. The first and the second elastic components each comprise a plurality of elastic elements extending at least partly along each respective article. The first and second elastic components differ from each other in at least the positioning or the elastic strength of the respective elastic elements. A method for manufacturing the array is also disclosed.
DISPOSABLE PANT-TYPE ABSORBENT ARTICLE
The disclosure relates to a disposable pant-type absorbent article, such as a pant diaper, a sanitary pant or incontinence pant, for an adult user. The absorbent article has a longitudinal direction (Y) and a transverse direction (X). The absorbent article includes a front body panel having a first at least partly elastic region extending along leg edges of the front body panel, and a second at least partly elastic region located next to the first elastic region. A back body panel has a third elastic region extending at least partly over the buttocks-covering section of the back body panel. Each of the elastic regions is elasticised by means of a plurality of elastic threads arranged substantially in the transverse direction across a major portion of the front or back body panel. A side edge of the third elastic region overlaps in the longitudinal direction both a side edge of the first at least partly elastic region and part of a side edge of the second at least partly elastic region at the side seams.
Absorbent article having elastic belt
An absorbent article including a main body with an absorbent core, and a ring-like elastic belt, is disclosed. The article may include a front belt and a back belt each formed by an inner sheet, an outer sheet and a plurality of elastic bodies sandwiched therebetween and running in the transverse direction. The elastic bodies in the back belt may include a plurality of waist elastic bodies having elasticity over the entire transverse width of the back belt; a plurality of tummy elastic bodies removed of their elasticity in at least a portion overlapping the absorbent core, and a core edge elastic body disposed overlapping the absorbent core and adjacent the distal edge of the absorbent core, the core edge elastic body having elasticity over the entire transverse width of the back belt.
Absorbent article
A leak-proof cuff (28) is divided into a lower region (40) and a upper region (41). The upper region (41) includes a first region (41A) located at the side of a free edge (28B) relative to the center in the width direction (Y) and a second region (41B) located at the side of a folding line (42). In each of the first region (41A) and the second region (41B), at least one elastic member (29) extending along the longitudinal direction (X) is provided in a stretched state. In a case where the elongation of the upper region (41) in a natural state is 0, and the elongation in a maximum stretched state is 100, the stress ?1 of the first region (41A) is larger than the stress ?2 of the second region (41B) at an elongation of 5, and the stress ?2 of the second region (41B) is larger than the stress ?1 of the first region (41A) at an elongation of 100.
Pant structure with efficiently manufactured and aesthetically pleasing rear leg profile
A disposable absorbent pant having a front belt portion and a rear belt portion is disclosed. The front and rear belt portions are joined at side seams and the rear belt portion has a greater length than the front belt portion. A lower edge of the rear belt portion forms at least in part edges of left and right leg openings to the rear of the side seams. The rear belt portion includes first and second layers of nonwoven web material sandwiching a plurality of laterally extending and laterally pre-strained elastic strands, disposed below the side seams. A first of the plurality of elastic strands differs from a second of the plurality of elastic strands by one or more of amount of pre-strain, tensile modulus, decitex, and combinations thereof.
DISPOSABLE WEARING ARTICLE
The present invention provides a disposable wearing article which prevents a position shift of a front waist region without a part of a front waist region receding in a concave portion of the abdomen of the wearer. A plurality of linear front waist elastics contractible in a lateral direction is disposed in a front waist region of a disposable wearing article. The front waist elastics have (include) a first elastic positioned adjacent to an outer side of a front-end edge of a liquid absorbent core in a vertical direction, a second elastic positioned adjacent to an inner side of the front-end edge in the vertical direction, and a third elastic positioned adjacent to an inner side of the second elastic in the vertical direction. A contractile force of the first elastic and the second elastic is weaker than a contractile force of the third elastic.
