The present disclosure provides an insulated transport cabinet for food or the like having a housing, a door, a hinge cover, and a hinge pin. The housing includes a barrel portion adjacent to a front surface and extending between top and bottom ends. The barrel portion includes a longitudinal axis, a gap separating the barrel portion into top and bottom barrel sections having first and second passageways aligned with the longitudinal axis, respectively. The door includes a hinge adjacent to a side surface and including a third passageway aligned with the longitudinal axis. An inner surface of the hinge pin complements an outer surface of the hinge. The hinge pin passes through the first, third, and second passageways. The door pivots about the longitudinal axis between an open position and a closed position. The longitudinal axis is offset from a center plane of the door.

An electrically driven trolley combination for an aircraft cabin with an independently usable, manually movable trolley and an electrical operating apparatus. The trolley has a base section, a main section extending from the base section, and wheels with the trolley supported on a cabin floor by the wheels and manually movable over the cabin floor being pushed or pulled. The electrical operating apparatus can be detachably coupled to the trolley and has a frame, a driveable rolling device on the frame and by which the electrical operating apparatus can be supported on a cabin floor and rolled, a coupling apparatus on the frame for detachably coupling the electrical operating apparatus to the trolley and having an engagement section and a movement section, the engagement section being selectively movable between a first position and a second position by the movement section, an electrical drive device, and a control device.

The invention further relates to a method for integrating a functional panel part into a worktop or tabletop of such a kitchen furniture item and to a method for replacing one panel part of a worktop or tabletop of such a kitchen furniture item with another panel part.

A device for use in a vehicle having an entertainment system. The device includes an information processing system including a data processor and memory in communication with one another, with the data processor executing a control system. The device includes an electronic paper display connected in communication to the control system and displaying information in accordance with commands received from the control system. The device includes a communication module connected in communication with the information processing system, with the communication module being connectable to the vehicle entertainment system. The communication module is configured to receive information from the vehicle entertainment system according to at least one communication protocol and communicate the information to the control system, in which the control system generates commands for the electronic paper display in accordance with information received from the vehicle entertainment system.

A cart including a housing and a first foot and a second foot mounted to the housing bottom. Each foot is moveable back and forth from a direction away from one end of the cart towards the other end, and each foot including a recess opening downwardly away from the housing bottom. The cart includes a low pressure source in fluid communication pathway extending from each recess to the low pressure source. Each fluid communication pathway includes a valve operable for opening and closing the fluid communication pathway between the recess and the low pressure source. The cart includes a first motor connected to one foot and another motor connected to the other foot, with each motor operable for moving its respective foot back and forth. The cart includes a control system connected in communication with each motor and each valve, with the control system controlling each motor to move its respective foot back and forth.

A catering shelving system is disclosed with a series of shelves in order to assist caters in transporting food from one location to another. The shelving system racks may be detachable or pivotally attached through the use of rotation mechanisms for easy break down and storage. The shelving system may accommodate a series of different types of pans of all shapes, sizes, and weights.

A food service cart comprising a removable and adjustable hinge which accommodates for the normal inconsistences that are inherent with the rotational molding process. The hinge comprises a bore which is defined off-center relative to its longitudinal axis, allowing the bore to be selectively adjusted relative to a side panel and a door of the food service cart and provide a proper alignment there between. A plurality of facets disposed on the hinge ensure that it does not further rotate as the door is being rotated relative to the side panel. A cooling arrangement for a galley for installation in a transport apparatus includes a cooling energy consumer with a housing with a cooling fluid inlet opening and a cooling fluid outlet opening for the supply and removal of a cooling fluid to and from the housing. A cooling compartment includes an interior for taking up the cooling energy consumer, a cooling air inlet for supplying cooling air to the cooling compartment and a cooling air outlet for removing cooling air from the cooling compartment. The cooling air inlet can conduct the cooling air supplied to the interior over an outer surface of the cooling energy consumer. A conveying device is configured to conduct the cooling air supplied to the interior and conducted over the outer surface of the cooling energy consumer through the housing of the cooling energy consumer via the cooling fluid inlet opening and cooling fluid outlet opening.

The table includes a metallic frame mounted on wheels, the frame surrounding a generally hollow interior, an outer body member which is coupled to and substantially surrounds side portions of the frame, the outer body member being made of a weather resistant material, a railing coupled to the frame and defining a shoulder positioned adjacent the outer body member at the generally hollow interior, a tabletop lid member which removably engages with at least one of the shoulder or the outer body member to close the generally hollow interior, and a functional/storage device which is revealed for access and use when the tabletop lid member is disengaged from the outer body member. The functional/storage device substantially covers a surface area bounded at the top end of the frame to maximize usage of space within the generally hollow interior.
