The cassette system includes a housing, a plurality of lockable drawers slidably mounted to the housing, and a drawer manual override configured to allow a hardware key to mechanically unlatch all of the drawers so that the drawers are capable of opening.

A computer system provided at the moveable cart includes an input device. The computer system receives data from the sensors to determine a position of each of the drawers and prevent a second one of the drawers from moving into an opened position when a first one of the drawers is in the opened position.
