Sodium vaporizer and methods
A vaporizer includes an outer tube configured to receive a flow of heated gas and an inner tube disposed at least partially within the outer tube. The inner tube is spaced apart from the outer tube such that the flow of heated gas is channeled through an annular space therebetween. The vaporizer also includes a crucible disposed at least partially within the inner tube. The crucible is extendable and retractable relative to the inner tube and within the outer tube. The crucible is configured to hold a molten metal such that a surface area of the molten metal exposed to the flow of heated gas is adjustable based on the position of the crucible relative to the inner tube. A heater is configured to vaporize the molten material and the vapor mixes with the flow of heated gas.
Continuous biomass extraction system and process
A method for producing valuable organic liquid from a biomass wherein a heated gas is mixed with a biomass to produce an enriched organic vapor and a biomass waste product. The biomass waste product is separated from the enriched organic vapor. The enriched organic vapor is cooled to produce a liquid organic oil and the liquid organic oil is collected. A system for producing the liquid organic oil including a first separation unit to separate an enriched organic vapor and a biomass waste product. The enriched organic vapor and the biomass waste product are generated from mixing a heated gas and a biomass. The system also includes a wet scrubber for cooling the enriched organic vapor to generate an enriched organic smoke. The organic smoke can be transformed to the liquid organic oil in an electrostatic precipitator.
MICROBIAL COMPOSITIONS
Provided herein are various microbial compositions and methods for preparing these compositions.
Process of spray drying of GLP-1 peptide
The present invention relates to a process for spray drying of a feed solution comprising the GLP-1 peptide semaglutide wherein the ratio of atomising gas flow (kg/h) to feed solution flow (kg/h) is 1.0-1.7.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INCREASING EVAPORATION FOR FLUID BODIES
The present disclosure includes systems and methods for enhancing evaporation rates of a fluid, such as fluid including dissolved solids (e.g., a wastewater pond). In one example, a system includes a pump configured to pressurize air and an agitation assembly fluidly coupled to the pump, where the agitation assembly is configured to emit an air stream that impacts a top surface of the fluid body to generate droplets.
PROCESSING CONTAMINATED WATER CONTAINING VOLATILE COMPOUNDS VIA FLASH EVAPORATION
Processing contaminated water containing volatile or/and semi-volatile compounds via flash evaporation. Method and system include: superheating contaminated water (via a superheating unit), for forming superheated contaminated water having a temperature equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold temperature; flash evaporating the superheated contaminated water (via a flash evaporation unit), for forming superheated contaminated steam; and thermally oxidizing the superheated contaminated steam (via a thermal oxidation unit), so as to thermally oxidize the volatile compounds contained therein, and form thermal oxidation gas/vapor products. Optionally, further includes integrated configuration and operation of a process control/data-information processing unit, and a heat recycling unit. Results in obtaining high yields and high energy efficiencies for removal of volatile compounds from contaminated water. Particularly applicable for processing water contaminated with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or/and semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), and volatile or/and semi-volatile inorganic compounds.

System And Method To Desalinate A Feed Water Stream By Mixing The Feed Water Stream With A Heating Medium
A system and method to desalinate a feed water stream does so in a liquid pool zone of a vessel as the stream comes into contact with a heating medium that is less volatile than the feed water stream. To keep the pool hot, the heating medium can be recirculated through a heater of a pump-around loop or a heater can be placed in the liquid pool. As the feed water stream is vaporized or partially vaporized, any solids and unvaporized water present in the feed water stream come out of the stream and move into the heating medium. These solids and unvaporized water may be further removed from the heating medium in the pool or in the pump-around loop. The heat exchange surface does not contact the feed water.

System And Method To Reboil A Process Stream In A Distillation System By Mixing The Stream With A Heating Medium
A system and method to reboil a process or feed water stream in a distillation system does so in a liquid pool zone of a vessel as the stream is removed from a distillation column and comes into contact with a heating medium that is immiscible with and less volatile than the process stream. To keep the pool hot, the heating medium can be recirculated through a heater of a pump-around loop or a heater can be placed in the liquid pool. As the process stream is partially vaporized, any solids present in the process stream together with the unvaporized process or feed water stream move into the heating medium. These solids and unvaporized liquids may be further removed from the heating medium in the pool or in the pump-around loop. The vaporized stream is returned to the distillation column.
