MICROWAVE FLASH EVAPORATION PROCESS AND APPARATUS AND USE THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a microwave flash evaporation process and apparatus and uses thereof. A microwave flash evaporation process, wherein the process makes integration of those technologies for liquid spraying, liquid droplet flash evaporation, microwave enhancement, vacuum steam discharge, and simulation and optimization of multi-mode resonant cavity, wherein through the coupling effect of the microwave, by means of one stage microwave flash evaporation, the effect normally achieved by multi-effect evaporation and flash evaporation is obtained and a liquid droplet micro-system with microwave energy transfer in situ is formed so as to prevent a circulation pump and a steam heat exchange system from being corroded under high temperature and high pressure, and prevent scaling on a heat exchanger, and improve evaporation efficiency. The present disclosure makes integration of those technologies for liquid spraying, liquid droplet flash evaporation, microwave enhancement, vacuum steam discharge, and simulation and optimization of multi-mode resonant cavity, and can be used for performing the processes of effluent disposal, seawater desalination, evaporation concentration of spent liquor of Bayer process, concentration crystallization of chemical production, sterilization of solution, unoil of solution, the rectification separation for various organic mixed solutions, sterilization, unoil and dehydration of solid powder. There is a prospect for this new process of the present disclosure with short technological process to upgrade the evaporation process.
Evaporator and a method for vaporizing a substance in an evaporator
An evaporator (1) for vaporizing a substance into its gaseous form, which comprises a cylindrical outer shell (2) and a plate pack (4) arranged inside the cylindrical shell in its lower part and a droplet separator (9) arranged above the plate pack. A recirculation of a substance to be vaporized is carried out by using flow guides (10a, 10b) arranged tightly between the plate pack and the outer shell and by an ejector pipe (13) arrangement comprising a collection pipe (11) arranged inside the outer shell.
High efficiency, large scale desalination system
An apparatus and method for the distillation of ocean and brackish water that includes a means for using the ambient temperatures of seawater and air to continually transfer the heat energy, from the outer perimeters of the system, back into the, centrally located, evaporation chamber and insulation for preventing heat from escaping to the atmosphere. The insulation comprises a first and second wall surrounding the basic assemblies of a desalination system in which the space between the first and second wall is under low partial vacuum and is partially filled with an insulation material for structural support. The system provides a feed through means that prevent heat transfer through the structural connections between the first and second walls. The system provides an evaporation system for flash evaporation by atomizing the input contaminated water, preheated by the heat of condensation into very small liquid droplets, which are then sprayed into a stream of hot dry air. The liquid rapidly evaporates leaving behind hot dry solids that is recaptured and used to preheat the input contaminated water.
COMPACT WASTEWATER CONCENTRATOR USING WASTE HEAT
A compact and portable liquid concentrator includes a gas inlet, a gas exit and a flow corridor connecting the gas inlet and the gas exit, wherein the flow corridor includes a narrowed portion that accelerates the gas through the flow corridor. A liquid inlet injects liquid into the gas stream at a point prior to the narrowed portion so that the gas-liquid mixture is thoroughly mixed within the flow corridor, causing a portion of the liquid to be evaporated. A demister or fluid scrubber downstream of the narrowed portion removes entrained liquid droplets from the gas stream and re-circulates the removed liquid to the liquid inlet through a re-circulating circuit. Fresh liquid to be concentrated is also introduced into the re-circulating circuit at a rate sufficient to offset the amount of liquid evaporated in the flow corridor.
WET EVAPORATION-BASED COLD CONCENTRATION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a wet evaporation-based cold concentration system, which is mainly applied to the technical field of air conditioners, and particularly applied to the technical field of heat-source tower heat-pump air conditioners. By utilizing a wet evaporation theory, a low-temperature low-concentration anti-freezing solution is enabled to contact low-temperature air in a wet evaporator to perform the heat and mass transfer, and water in the anti-freezing solution is vaporized at a low temperature into the air, thereby obtaining the high-concentration anti-freezing solution. By reasonably utilizing the concentration pool and the storage pool, the low-concentration anti-freezing solution is separated from the high-concentration anti-freezing solution, thereby achieving a purpose of simultaneously concentrating and storing the anti-freezing solution
