METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PLANT OIL EXTRACTION USING A HEATED FLUID OBTAINED FROM A CAVITATION APPARATUS
An apparatus and method of use employs a multiple displacement evacuation tank and a cavitation apparatus. Heated fluid from the cavitation apparatus is used to treat a plant material to obtain a purified oil product therefrom. The cavitation apparatus output is used to both heat the multiple displacement evacuation tank contents and supply a feed to the multiple displacement evacuation tank for oil product manufacture. The fluid is preferably a lipid emulsion and the plant material is preferably a hemp material that allows for recovering of the cannabinoids therefrom.

The present invention relates to a method of preparing an aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound polymer including a step of separating volatile components from a polymerization product containing an aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound polymer, a residual aromatic vinyl monomer, a residual vinyl cyanide monomer, and an organic solvent using a volatilization tank, and a step of condensing the separated volatile components using a condenser, wherein an organic solvent or an aromatic vinyl monomer is sprayed onto the volatile components being transferred to the condenser. Volatile components may be fully condensed in a condenser, thereby significantly reducing the amount of volatile components discharged to the outside without being condensed. Therefore, wastewater treatment costs consumed in treating the volatile components may be reduced, and the amount of vinyl cyanide monomers harmful to the human body discharged into the atmosphere may be significantly reduced.
METHOD FOR SELECTIVE RECOVERY OF HYDROPHOBIC COMPOUNDS
A method of selectively recovering a hydrophobic target substance. The method is applied to a solution of the target substance in a hydrophobic solvent. An insoluble polysaccharide is combined with the solution, the solution is passed over the insoluble polysaccharide or otherwise exposed to the insoluble polysaccharide. A hydrophilic solvent, which is less hydrophobic than the hydrophobic solvent, is combined with the solution or combined with the hydrophobic target substance and the insoluble polysaccharide after evaporation of the hydrophobic solvent to facilitate binding of the insoluble polysaccharide with the target substance rather than remaining in solution in the hydrophobic solvent. The cyclic polysaccharide is isolated from the solution. A dissociation solvent is combined with the cyclic polysaccharide for solubilizing the target substance from the cyclic polysaccharide and recovering the target substance.
