A device for fastening a table top to a side wall of a vehicle includes: a structure for fastening to the side wall, and a support structure of the plate. The support structure includes: at least one crosspiece extending along a transverse direction, and at least two beams each extending in a longitudinal direction substantially orthogonal to the transverse direction, with the crosspiece being connected to each of the beams. The support structure includes bending onset zones configured to deform plastically when a force greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold force is applied on the support structure along the transverse direction.

A rotatable galley includes a frame laterally rotatable between a first position and a second position, a pivot coupled to the frame such that the frame is rotatable with respect to the pivot, and a first linear actuator coupled between the frame and the pivot. The first linear actuator can be configured to extend to rotate the frame to the first position and retract to rotate the frame to the second position.

A rotatable galley includes a frame laterally rotatable between a first position and a second position, a pivot coupled to the frame such that the frame is rotatable with respect to the pivot, and a first linear actuator coupled between the frame and the pivot. The first linear actuator can be configured to extend to rotate the frame to the first position and retract to rotate the frame to the second position.

A travel tray and container system includes a base having a cylinder for receiving a beverage container and a tray having a tray shape extending in a horizontal plane to bisect the cylinder to define an upper cylinder and a lower cylinder eccentrically disposed within the horizontal plane. The lower cylinder is dimensioned to closely fit within a cup-holder. The tray has a vertical wall extending around its perimeter, where the upper cylinder and the vertical wall define a tray retention volume having an eccentric cut-out region corresponding to the cylinder. A removable insert has a shape that fits within the tray retention volume, the insert having upper edges configured for attachment of a container-sealing lid.

A travel tray and container system includes a base having a cylinder for receiving a beverage container and a tray having a tray shape extending in a horizontal plane to bisect the cylinder to define an upper cylinder and a lower cylinder eccentrically disposed within the horizontal plane. The lower cylinder is dimensioned to closely fit within a cup-holder. The tray has a vertical wall extending around its perimeter, where the upper cylinder and the vertical wall define a tray retention volume having an eccentric cut-out region corresponding to the cylinder. A removable insert has a shape that fits within the tray retention volume, the insert having upper edges configured for attachment of a container-sealing lid.

A vehicle includes: a table liftably provided at a center of a floor of a cabin of the vehicle; and multiple seats arranged around the table such that each seat faces the table. Preferably, the table is configured to be lifted up and down between a stowed position in which at least a part of the table is stowed in the floor and a deployed position in which the table protrudes more upward than in the stowed position.

A vehicle includes: a table liftably provided at a center of a floor of a cabin of the vehicle; and multiple seats arranged around the table such that each seat faces the table. Preferably, the table is configured to be lifted up and down between a stowed position in which at least a part of the table is stowed in the floor and a deployed position in which the table protrudes more upward than in the stowed position.

A portable table top formed from a base having multiple legs and brackets for accommodating various positions. Extension brackets are attached to side edges which engage a mounting tab slidably insertable into a cavity formed on each side edge of the base. A centrally positioned support having a first end pivotably mounted to a lower surface of the base provides a three point support. Legs are provided if the base is to be used on flat table as an angled work surface.

A habitable motor vehicle includes an interior, an ambience around the vehicle, an opening between the interior and ambience, a door which closes the opening, an insect protection device fastened to the vehicle, a table, and a fastening device which is releasably fastens the table to the vehicle. The insect protection device has an insect protection screen which at least partly closes the opening. The fastening device has coupling members comprising a table coupling member arranged on the table, and a vehicle coupling member arranged on a side of the motor vehicle in a region of the opening. The table and vehicle coupling members are releasably coupled to each other. The table extends from the opening laterally into the ambience when the coupling members are coupled. An intermediate space is formed between the table and the interior having the insect protection screen arranged therein when the coupling members are coupled.

A habitable motor vehicle includes an interior, an ambience around the vehicle, an opening between the interior and ambience, a door which closes the opening, an insect protection device fastened to the vehicle, a table, and a fastening device which is releasably fastens the table to the vehicle. The insect protection device has an insect protection screen which at least partly closes the opening. The fastening device has coupling members comprising a table coupling member arranged on the table, and a vehicle coupling member arranged on a side of the motor vehicle in a region of the opening. The table and vehicle coupling members are releasably coupled to each other. The table extends from the opening laterally into the ambience when the coupling members are coupled. An intermediate space is formed between the table and the interior having the insect protection screen arranged therein when the coupling members are coupled.
