LAUNDER COVER AND COVER SYSTEM AND PROCESSES TO MAKE LAUNDER COVER ASSEMBLIES
The instant launder cover is readily fabricated by pultrusion, vacuum bag, or other non-sprayed methods and may advantageously be used with various sizes of tanks and/or launder troughs. The cover system effectively controls odor using, for example, optional gaskets while not requiring stiffening flanges or interfering with wiper mechanisms or other components of the tank or system.
WASTEWATER DISSOLVED-AIR FLOTATION APPARATUS COMBINED WITH SETTLING TANK HAVING SLOPED PLATES
A wastewater dissolved-air floatation apparatus combined with a precipitation tank having sloped plates is proposed. The apparatus can reduce a transfer load according to the discharge of sludge, when the sludge is discharged through a discharge screw which is a discharge means, so as to enable sludge discharge efficiency to be maximized, has a cleaning means so as to enable components provided therein to be easily cleaned, maintained and managed through cleaning when the inside thereof is required to be cleaned, can control the discharge level of wastewater, which has been treated while sludge precipitation and suspended particle floatation are stably performed thereon inside a separation tank to which microbubbles are supplied, selectively blocks the supply of the microbubbles into the separation tank so as to use the separation tank as a precipitation tank.
Launder Cover System
A launder cover system for reducing or eliminating sunlight exposure so as to prevent algae growth in a tank such as a clarifier tank. The launder cover system generally includes a plurality of support members and a plurality of launder covers which are each independently pivotably connected to a tank wall of a tank, such as by using a mount. The support members are each pivotably connected to the tank wall by a pivot connector and the launder covers are each pivotably connected to the tank wall by a hinge connector. Each support member is positioned between a pair of launder covers, and each launder cover is positioned between a pair of support members. The support members function to support the launder covers in a raised or lowered position. A launder support may be connected to the channel wall to support the launder covers in their lowered positions.
Oil and grit separator system with twin vortex
An oil and grit separator system having twin vortex which uses gravity providing a twin vortex effect to remove sediment and oil from contaminated water. The system is designed to control storm water runoff and reduce the annual suspended solids loading of the granulometric particles. The conception and configuration of the system has a double action vortex. It ensures an optimal treatment level in either light or heavy rain and avoids re-suspension of particles. It also removes, separates and stores floating oil without any possible re-suspension of the matter.
Plate settler cover and method
The present invention is directed to a plate settler cover that prevents algae growth, prevents contamination from organic material, and provides structural support for a user who is standing or walking on the plate settler system. The plate settler covers can either float directly on standing water present in the system or may be structurally supported such that the plate cover is positioned above the surface of the water.
HYDRODYNAMIC SEPARATOR FOR STORMWATER TREATMENT
A method, system, and apparatus directed to an innovative approach for the treatment of stormwater utilizing hydrodynamic separator assembly designed to maximize flow movement for more efficient sediment removal and maximize clearance space within assembly to facilitate cleaning and increase storage capacity of trash, debris, and sediment.

Decanting backwash receiver
Disclosed herein are decanting backwash receiver assemblies, and related methods of fabrication and use. The present disclosure provides improved decanting backwash receiver assemblies for decanting of input feeds, and improved systems/methods for utilizing and fabricating the decanting backwash receiver assemblies. The present disclosure provides decanting backwash receiver assemblies utilizing porous media insert members and/or porous media surfaces for the decanting of input feeds. Exemplary decanting backwash receiver assemblies are configured and dimensioned to receive a filter backwash surge flow of slurry (e.g., solids and liquid mixture), and provide for settling of the solids from flow 11, and provide for decanting of a liquid layer above the settled solids, and optionally provide for de wetting the settled solids, and provide for discharge of the settled solids (e.g., liquid wetted) from the bottom of the assemblies.
IMMERSED ACTIVE INFRARED SELF-CLEANING SECONDARY SEDIMENTATION TANK SLUDGE BLANKET INDUCTION DEVICE AND APPLICATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention discloses an immersed active infrared self-cleaning secondary sedimentation tank sludge blanket induction device and an application method thereof, the induction device comprises an upper sleeve and a lower sleeve that are connected up and down and form a communicated inner cavity, a set of infrared emitters and infrared receivers that are located on an inner wall of the upper sleeve and are oppositely arranged, a transparent hard ring that is annularly adhered to front sides of the infrared emitters and the infrared receivers, and a push rod assembly that can move up and down in the inner cavity and is used for cleaning the transparent hard ring; wherein a sludge outlet hole and a water outlet hole located below the sludge outlet hole are arranged on the upper sleeve, a bearing plate is arranged in the inner cavity of the lower sleeve.
Clarifier with submerged effluent launder and launder sweeper system
In a wastewater treatment system, a clarifier has a submerged effluent launder, with a sloped, submerged plate that allows clarified liquid to exit through submerged openings. The sloped surface tends to accumulate solids, which can lead to algae growth. Typical internal scum collection system equipment prevents any efficient way to clear the accumulated sludge off the launder surface because of interferences. As disclosed here, a scum discharge area or box is placed external to the clarifier in one embodiment. Scum is wiped from a vertical surface of the launder assembly, above the sloped launder surface, and swept over a scum beach at one position in the clarifier, to drop into a lower trough and the flow out through the clarifier wall to a drop out box or scum discharge area. This allows for a rake-attached, sweeping launder wiper to be moved with the clarifier's rake to remove the accumulation of sludge from the launder's submerged surface, without elaborate moving parts. The sludge is swept back to settle in the clarifier, improving effluent quality by preventing sludge from exiting along with clarified water. In another embodiment the scum discharge box is internal, as a low-profile vertically disposed channel against the inside clarifier wall, leading to an existing scum pipe through the clarifier wall.
