Waste disposal methods
Embodiments of the present disclosure include systems and methods for collecting, storing, separating, and disposing of waste material from an oil and gas well site in order to enhance payload efficiency. An embodiment of a method, for example, may include introducing a waste material into an enhanced-payload mobile vessel positioned at the oil and gas well site, the waste material selected to include one or more of a sludge waste material, a solids-laden wastewater material, and a dry waste material. The method may further include transporting the waste material when positioned in the enhanced-payload mobile vessel along roadways to an off-site waste management facility. Additionally, the method may include dumping the waste material from the enhanced-payload mobile vessel by a site-based lifting mechanism into a receiving vessel at the off-site waste management facility thereby to dispose of the waste material at a reduced transportation cost.

BACKFLOW COLLECTION SYSTEM INCLUDING A CONVEYOR AND METHOD FOR RECLAIMING THE SAME
The disclosure provides a collection receptacle. In one embodiment, the collection receptacle includes an enclosure including a first portion and second portion configured to collect solid and liquid matter. The collection receptacle, in this embodiment, further includes a conveyor extending into the first portion of the enclosure and configured to remove the solid matter from the first portion, wherein the conveyor includes a first substantially horizontal portion and a second elevated portion, and further wherein a length of the first substantially horizontal portion is configured in such a way as to promote separation of the solid matter from the liquid matter as the solid matter travels up the conveyor and out of the enclosure.
Single solvent method and machine for separating bitumen from oil sand
A single solvent method and machine for separating bitumen from oil sand ore are disclosed. The method includes the use of a single light paraffinic solvent, such as propane or butane as the agent to separate the bitumen from mined oil sand ore. Since light paraffinic solvents are vapors at atmospheric pressure and temperatures, the ore is placed in a pressurized container so that the solvent remains in a liquid state. When the container is pressurized, by the addition of the solvent itself, the liquid solvent is mixed with the ore to effect separation. The proposed machine settles more than 80% of the solids out under gravity in a modest period of time. The solvent-bitumen mixture is drained after the cleaning cycle, the container is depressured to a vapor recovery system and the remaining solids dumped out. The fine solids, drained with the liquids, are separated from the liquid mixture with relative ease by the use of current technology in other downstream equipment.

BACKFLOW COLLECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECLAIMING THE SAME
The disclosure provides a backflow collection system and method for reclaiming backflow from a wellbore. In one embodiment, a backflow collection system comprises a collection tank having an upper and lower section, the collection tank having a side opening configured to receive backflow from an oil/gas well, as well as a discharge port proximate an upper end of the upper section configured to discharge gas from the collection tank; and a substantially vertical auger system coupled proximate the lower section of the collection tank, the auger configured to receive solid and liquid matter from a bottom opening in the collection tank, and when elevated remove at least a portion of the solid and liquid matter from the collection tank, the collection tank designed such that when fluid is contained therein it acts as a liquid/gas seal to prevent gas from exiting through the bottom opening in the collection tank.
