Struvite and extracting method therefor
A struvite and a method for extracting the struvite from seawater, concentrated salt water or brine. NH.sub.4HCO.sub.3 and H.sub.3PO.sub.4 are added in the seawater, concentrated salt water or brine, and NH.sub.4HCO.sub.3, H.sub.3PO.sub.4 and the seawater, concentrated salt water or brine are stirred and well mixed to react. Then electromagnetic ionic liquid are dripped, with a dripping time controlled to be 30 to 50 min and pH value of the reaction solution to be within a range of 7.5 to 8.5, to generate white precipitate. Finally, the white precipitate is separated from the liquid, spin dried and packaged to obtain the struvite. The struvite has higher purity and fertilizer efficiency than natural struvite, and also contains potassium, calcium, sulfur and chlorine required for crop growth and dozens of types of trace elements such as molybdenum, zinc, manganese, iron, copper and selenium, which is more suitable for the crop growth.
PRESSURE-WASHING APPARATUS
The speed, effectiveness, and convenience with which pallets and other objects are cleaned can be increased by using a pressure power-washing apparatus described. The apparatus includes at least one pressure-washer that pumps liquid from a tank into rotary arms within a cleaning chamber, causing the rotation of the arms as the arms eject streams of the liquid pumped under a high pressure from angled nozzles. Conveyors carry an object in need of cleaning into the cleaning chamber, first exposing the object to the streams of the liquid, and then to a drying chamber. Guide rails positioned on the platform guide the object during cleaning, with the shape of one of the guide rails causing the object to fall off following the drying to remove excess liquid left on the object.
LIQUID REFINING APPARATUS AND DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
A liquid refining apparatus is disclosed. The liquid refining apparatus includes a substrate, a loader which is formed on the substrate and configured to receive a first liquid, a filter which is configured to reduce a concentration of at least one substance contained in the first liquid to obtain a second liquid with a reduced concentration of the at least one substance, a reactor which is configured to mix the second liquid with a reactant for target substance detection to obtain a third liquid containing, among a plurality of substances contained in the second liquid, a first substance which undergoes a predetermined reaction with the reactant and a second substance which does not undergo the predetermined reaction with the reactant, and a separator which is configured to separate the first substance and the second substance.
Wastewater re-use systems
A wastewater reuse system has a wastewater treatment system connected to a dwelling for receiving wastewater therefrom. The wastewater treatment system has a pump tank with an outlet that can be connected to a central wastewater collection system and/or a re-use recipient of treated wastewater such as an irrigation system.
Air intake separator systems and methods
An air intake separator system includes a plurality of vanes adapted to remove fluid or precipitation from an air stream, wherein the vanes are operably coupled to tubular rods with an interference fit. Applying an elevated temperature heat transfer fluid to the plurality of vanes removes fluid or precipitation from an air stream in order to prevent ice formation. Likewise, applying a lower temperature heat transfer fluid can cool the vanes.
Method for operating a multi-phase pump and apparatus therefor
The invention concerns a method and an apparatus for operating a multi-phase pump which has a suction-side inlet (10) and a discharge-side outlet (20) and which pumps a multi-phase mixture charged with solids, comprising the following steps: a. pumping a multi-phase mixture into a discharge-side separation chamber (45), b. separating a gaseous phase from a liquid phase and a solid phase in the separation chamber (45), c. separating the liquid phase from the solid phase in the separation chamber (45), and d. supplying a portion of the liquid phase freed from the solid phase to the suction side.
System and method for fluid processing
A fluid separator unit includes an elongate body having a circular internal cross-section and a longitudinal axis, an inlet which directs a fluid flow into the body in a rotational flow pattern around the longitudinal axis, a first outlet, a second outlet, a first centrifugal separation zone arranged within the body, a second centrifugal separation zone arranged within the body, a first fluid path from a central part of the first centrifugal separation zone to the first outlet, a second fluid path from an outer periphery of the second centrifugal separation zone to the first outlet, and a third fluid path from the second centrifugal separation zone to the second outlet. A diameter of the second centrifugal separation zone is smaller than a diameter of the first centrifugal separation zone.
APPARATUS FOR SEPARATION OF PARTICULATE MATTER FROM FLUID
Various examples are provided for systems and apparatus for separation of particulate matter from fluid. In one example, an apparatus has a first wall and a second wall connected to and separated by an end edge wall and one or more side edge walls. The first wall has a fluid outlet. The apparatus has a separation chamber with a volume defined by the first wall, the second wall, the end edge wall, and the one or more side edge walls. Each of the side edge walls extends from a respective end of the end edge wall. The side edge walls taper from the end edge wall to a fluid exchange port, to guide contaminants or other particulate matter out the fluid exchange port.
Particle separator
An apparatus and methods for the separation of macroscopic solid body particles (SBPs) from a fluid stream contained in a conduit, such as a hose or pipe. The method involves utilizing a particle separator having a fluid inlet port connected to a fluid inlet conduit and a fluid outlet port connected to a fluid outlet conduit to change the direction (and optionally the velocity) of the fluid stream within a lumen of an enclosed vessel component of the particle separator sufficiently to permit SBPs to fall by gravity (and/or to descend due to inertia) into a removable receptacle within a bottom portion of the vessel component while directing the flow of cleansed fluid to the fluid outlet port of the particle separator.
